I suddenly got exhausted earlier tonight. And now I'm really emotional for no reason.

If anybody is interested in a cat fight, I can oblige.

I brought my workout clothes to hit the gym after work but I'm starting my period and I feel like there's a vice gripe squeezing my ovaries and that my fallopian tubes are tied in knots. And I have the farts. No one wants to work out next to the gassy chick.

I also feel like crying for nooooooo reason at all. like seriously, I'm going through our istock photos and came across a picture of children holding puppies and I was like

I really should just curl up on the sofa after work and eat ice cream....

I stopped having periods thanks to my IUD. However, after I went on keto diet they came back and they're so angry.

I also want to cuddle so hard right now and eat popcorn and cupcakes. I should workout instead and not eat anything until about noon tomorrow. Why is life so cruel.

just picked up some Murad moisturizer, trial size acne kit and body breakout spray and a shit ton of freebies from the old seph. they're giving 5 samples instead of three at the moment, and there's a nice origins gift for VIBs. hopefully this stuff doesn't take forever to ship so I can be entertaining myself with it next week.

try having all those feels for 6 months straight because your fibroids are so fierce even depo isn't stopping the rush of hormones. I've had some sort of a period since October. Now they want to give me the Lupron shot which i was supposed to get over a month ago, but my insurance company is dragging ass on letting me know if they'll cover it or not.

So my body is all fucked up not knowing if I should have a period, or if it should stop, and I want to kill everyone all the time. It's so much fun.

Switching my thyroid meds from levothyroxine to Armour has been an interesting process. First I was on too much and felt amped up all day. Now I don't feel amped but I still think it's too high as my skin has gotten crazy oily. Blah. Almost makes me want to switch back.

I'm on Nature Throid and continue to have some acne even at the right dose, but I feel so much better I don't care. It gets better if you make sure to change your pillowcase regularly and I use this before I go to bed:

I had a few black heads, but only had pimples around my period before. Now by 10am-noon I can feel my (powder) makeup sliding off my skin already. It's ridiculous. I would only splash my skin with water and use a makeup remover at night. Now I'm having to switch everything. I dunno.

I've only been on Armour since mid january, but it was so much of a shock to my system I had a major panic attack and drop in blood pressure. The left side of my body went numb. An urgent visit to my endo for lab work and I was way out of whack. He decreased my dosage, but I'm still not 100% this is right for me. I wish he weaned me off levo slowly.

I have enjoyed shedding those extra pounds and fullness in my face that I could never seem to get rid of though. /vanity

Most people do best on a combo of Armour and levothyroxine. I'm on both right now, but how much of one vs the other varies from person to person.

Yeah that's what I've read through my research; was going to bring it up at my next follow up if not sooner. I've been diagnosed hashis and hypo for 16 years for the most part well managed....just hoped Armour might be the answer for those final lingering symptoms.

I do have more energy now. Not in the amped way either, but in the "I can probably wait a few hours b4 I need coffee and skip that mid afternoon cup" kind of energy. That's been very nice.

Help! I need to find some shops that sell dresses for my sister's wedding!! My sister is coming to visit this weekend and I want to help her find some wedding dress option, but she doesn't want anything traditional.

She wants a tea length possibly cotton or a blend? Something that is flattering and doesn't show things like bra straps easy etc... open to colors ... red green or purple or any fall colors

Anyone have a suggestion about some places to start? I am really open to any suggestions at all, I am not even sure where to find stuff like this that is not off the internet. Thanks

there's both a nordstrom and a nordstrom rack in durham. you might have better luck finding the colors you want at the rack, since it's clearance or whtever.

JCrew has a line of bridesmaids dresses and they don't strike me as too bridesmaidsy like Davids Bridal.

Mine were from White House Black Market.

Anthro also has a bridal line now. So does Ann Taylor Loft.

EDIT - I see you're talking about the actual wedding dress. I would still recommend the same places.

Also - price range will make a big difference in suggestions!

I was going to recommend J. Crew. A lot of what they offer sounds like what she's looking for. But I don't think there are any physical locations nearby?

https://www.jcrew.com/wedding.jsp

I'd probably try the dress shop at several department stores until you find what you want.

if you two are open to online shopping, there's also a ton of "non-traditional" wedding dresses on etsy

Go to the dress section at Saks and maybe even Nordstrom.

I know in the spring time they get fun white dresses that could be used as a non-traditional bridal dress or rehearsal dress.

You're really going to have to go around to some bridal shops and just say you're looking for something non-traditional/tea length etc. Alexia bridal in downtown raleigh (west st.) has lots of good designer gowns, so you may find something there. Even Traditions by Anna over in North Hills may have something?

Just take a day and drive around .

anyone have any good homemade conditioning hair mask recipes that you've tried?

I have the place to myself saturday night so I was thinking of whipping something up, putting it in my hair and watching a rom com with a glass of wine.

my friend recently got a Gelish kit (with UV light) and has done my nails 2x now. I fuggin love it so much. I'd get one myself, but I don't think I could do it as nice as she does, plus it's fun to have someone else do it for you

I can't stop touching and looking at my nails.
