LOFT is the worst for running promotions and then none of the sizes, colors, or items you want are available. I finally figured out that you can ask them to order the stuff, and everything you want will magically appear from the back.

^With a fur-lined hoodie? Cause that's what's up.

Alba Botanica Hawaiian oil free moisturizer is very gel-like even though they don't advertise it as such. Light moisture, not sticky, and great for sensitive and acne prone skin. I have tried many others and this is my favorite.

The Proactiv green tea gel is a POS and made me break out because it has parabens.

The waist and sleeves look really short on her, but I think it is cute other than that. I have terrible fashion sense though. My current winter coat is black and hooded and goes halfway down my calves and makes me look like a chubby hobo, but it is so warm and cozy!

Looks like a good coat.

Speaking of Jenny from the Block, I really want some of those big ass POLO boots, kinda like these:

I'm pretty sure I'd be immune to all haters in these boots.

the other day at work I was wearing my brand new light grey wool pants, standing out in the front talking to a client, when all of a sudden I feel the familiar *whoosh* of my uterus sliding out of my body and into my underwear. I wasn't able to waddle fast enough to the bathroom to prevent it from soaking completely through my pants

Poor, Kate....

If it makes you feel better...

Last night I was really really tired, like falling asleep sitting up and drooling on my own shoulder tired. My bf was feeling some loving time and like 15/20 minutes after, as I'm drifting off...

I wake up really startled because a VERY loud noise came out from my lady parts. I mean LOUD...sonic blast....and I was so deliriously tired, I wasn't sure if I farted or queefed. And this bothers me...I'm not sure where the air came out...but it was LOUD...and the bf didn't move...so I'm not sure if he was stunned to silence or was already asleep....

I just came here to bitch about the absolutely retarded sizing of panty hose

I am neither 5'4-5'9 and between 120-150 pounds...

nor am I 5'2-6'1 and between 175-210 pounds....

what if you're 5'10 and weigh 155-160.....

WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU DO THEN!?

Skinny bitch problems...

I go by height and pick the brand with the smallest weights listed for my heights. Helps that I have large thighs for my size so they usually turn out fine.

Always get the bigger size/letter

it's easier, and it means they won't be as uncomfortably tight

they will not be falling off of you in the larger size, I promise

I've gone up two sizes in pantyhose before, it was totally fine: you may have to bunch them up a bit on your thighs if they're super long, but that's pretty minor

What would you ladies do? I am attending my cousin's wedding on dec 21st. Invited to the rehearsal dinner as well. My plan is to wear a brown and black dress with 3/4 length sleeves to the rehearsal dinner (I'll look for a picture) but for the wedding I'm kind of stumped. Should I just wear my LBD? Should I get a floor length dress? Can I go with some of these sparkly holiday dresses as long as it's not too flashy? I'm more used to weddings in spring, summer or early fall that I'm kinda stumped. Wedding is at 4:30 with reception at Alivia's after (she's marrying one of the owners; closing the place for the evening so I think despite its more casual atmosphere normally it will be setup pretty nice for the wedding)

I'd probably avoid both black and (duh) white

black can come off as funereal: though I'd say there are big exceptions here, especially if it has sequins/bling or is more of a party dress

I think holiday colors/sparkle are totally fine, and definitely in the spirit of a celebration/wedding (unless you know that your dress clashes with the bride's: like you'd both be in silver or something)

i don't know a whole bunch about the wedding honestly. bad cousin on my part.

i'm loving this dress though http://www.modcloth.com/shop/dresses/glitz-a-new-day-dress
and this one http://www.modcloth.com/shop/dresses/bead-it-dress

this one is by far my favorite favorite, but it's a little more than i wanted to spend. if i was also going to my work holiday party i would have gotten it and worn to both for sure. http://www.modcloth.com/shop/dresses/twinkling-at-twilight-dress

i'd rather keep it under a $100...so many dresses i'm finding that are beaded or sequin look super cheap if i get too low in price.

also liked this one on eshakti http://www.eshakti.com/product/CL0029149

i'm kind of all over the place

I FEEL YOUR PAIN LivinProof78!!!!

I ran into the same freakin problem two days ago. I always size up. Sometimes it's annoying and there's extra nylon bunched up where my legs meet my torso. Even worse - it's damn near impossible to find large stocking without a control top or those stupid built in shorts! Just because I have to get a big size doesn't mean I need my shit sucked in from all angles!

I think the first modcloth one is the most appropriate for what you're going for.

The eshakti dress would be my second choice.

I was going to suggest Love in Bloom, but I had noticed they moved when I went to Guasaca. Apparently they closed

And worse their website says to support Smart Momma which is also now closed (but I knew about that one closing). Man! That stinks

Had a disaster with eyebuyddirect Am in need of glasses before I go on vacation in a week and a half. I was planning on getting a short pair to wear most of the time and a longer pair for the computer but I can only afford to get one pair if I get them locally so that sucks.

I tried these on at Target and really liked them. Are they too hipster? http://www.amazon.com/Ray-Ban-Glasses-RX5150-Acetate-plastic/dp/B00A3PR0LO

I also liked these (they are basically the same thing but longer), but the SO said he'd ship me to Portland if I got them. They do look a little granny like, so I'm planning on the other ones. http://www.amazon.com/Ray-Ban-Glasses-5228-Square-Sunglasses/dp/B0049SH43U

How hard is it to adjust to having a frame in the way when you are using the computer? My last pair were rimless and I loved them because there was no frame in the way. I wanted to get new lenses in the rimless pair, but they claimed it would be over $200 because I needed special hardened lenses when I didn't pay that much for them the first time around including frames.

Sephors nauseates me, but the few times I have been in I find myself looking at the tons of brushes they have and the nail polish. Skin care stuff in the back looks fun, too.

Stila stay all day eyeliner ftw. Bought an eyeliner multipack at sephora the other week and that's definitely my favorite of the bunch. Use it all the time now.

I also like urban decay eye makeup primer. A handy purchase for sure.

I would also spend my money on good or random makeup tools--tweezers, eyebrow trimmer, the lotion palette scoop to get the last bit out of a bottle.

anyone have any suggestions on how to clean a peacoat?

I have a pale pink coat that I wore dark blue jeans with and the blue transferred to the coat so now underneath the coat, where it isn't lined, it's bluish/purple can dry cleaning take it out?
