I know they are not impeachable, but two otherwise intelligent grown adults did not. I am curious if that's the dialogue on Fox News.

http://aattp.org/dick-cheney-tells-fox-news-that-benghazi-is-worst-disaster-in-his-lifetime/

Dick Cheney calls Benghazi "worst disaster in his lifetime" on Hannity and makes cover up accusations.

LOL yes you read that correctly, DICK CHENEY!

I guess he forgot a few minor details from his time as Vice President.

Let's not forget the huge disaster of Iraq and associated deceit that was at least in part the result of Cheney's decisions.

or, even more similar, the 1983 Beirut barracks bombing that killed 299 service members. Not only was Cheney alive, he was in politics as the House leader at the time.

taking a deep breath here, Cheney said "one of the worst disasters" not "THE worst." Still hyperbolic, but not as insane as the misquoted statement.

Anytime Cheney calls for an investigation, just remember that his minority report in congress about the Iran-Contra said that there should not be an investigation, because any investigation by congress would usurp the constitutional powers and prerogative of the president.

basically, cheney is a piece of shit

Jon Stewart on Rumsfeld and Cheney's comments on Benghazi. They have no right to talk when it comes to shaping narratives and lies as it relates to Middle East policy:

EPA Also Faces Probe Over Alleged Targeting of Conservative Groups
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2013/06/04/epa-accused-singling-out-conservative-groups-amid-irs-scandal/

This picture tells you everything you need to know about the Tea Baggers. While attempting to maintain that their aims are purely fiscal, you see some clown with an ultrasound picture in order to push their social agenda.

As to the story, hopping on board the IRS red meat that Faux News, et. al. continues to throw their way, more Tea Bagger groups are coming out crying over supposed bias. Basically, these groups think they can cripple the EPA by submitting endless FOIA requests and then bitch when they get turned down or ignored...

remember. it's only a frivolous request when it's made by someone with whom you disagree. Even still, waiving fees almost every time for liberal groups and denying the waivers almost every time for conservative groups is way more than coincidental. you're smarter than that, dude

I read that claim, yet saw no definitive proof that actually happened. I don't condone such actions if they are true, but in this climate (pun?) of political obstruction, there is little doubt that a certain faction would love nothing more than to simply pester the evil, scary, socialist, eco-fascist EPA.

is it your contention, then, that FoxNews simply made those numbers up, or that CEI made them up? The numbers are there for anyone to view. I'm sure the Clinton News Network or PMSNBC would have torn it to shreds by now if it were bogus, man. You need to think a little more critically

What isn't being reported is what kinds of information was being requested. Some information may be easier to get to, thus doesn't warrant the fee, while these CEI chumps are likely looking to stymie actual work being done at the EPA. The CEI guy obviously has an agenda just by looking at the title of his book, and the right is desperate to tie anything they can to the IRS "scandal".

i didn't watch the interview, but don't Muslims believe that Jesus was a prophet from Allah?

but even if they didn't, would they have derided a Christian for writing a book about Mohammed? or a Jew who wrote a book about Vishnu? or a ____ who wrote a book about ____?

well they would probably call a christian writing a book about mohammad a traitor.

unless of course that book was only painting him as a pedophile.

LOL, how wonderful, race baiting in the second fucking sentence.

But that interview was nonsense. He got jipped and didn't even get to talk about the content of his book long enough to justify the interview. But I guess in the end he got more exposure overall since it is going viral as they say. My curiosity sent me to the Amazon reviews page.

"jipped" is a different spelling of "gypped" which is derogatory towards the gypsy ethnic group. I'm sure your use of a racist term wasn't intentional, but i'm also sure the use of the historic battle of Thermopylae popularized by the movie 300 probably wasn't used to incite racial divide either.

Fox News found to be a major driving force behind global warming denial
American consumers of conservative media like Fox News distrust climate scientists and don't believe the planet is warming
http://www.theguardian.com/environment/climate-consensus-97-per-cent/2013/aug/08/global-warming-denial-fox-news
Quote :
"A new study published in the journal Public Understanding of Science (PDF available here) surveyed a nationally representative sample of over 1,000 Americans in 2008 and 2011 about their media consumption and beliefs about climate change.

The results suggest that conservative media consumption (specifically Fox News and Rush Limbaugh) decreases viewer trust in scientists, which in turn decreases belief that global warming is happening. In contrast, consumption of non-conservative media (specifically ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, CNN, NPR, The New York Times, and The Washington Post) increases consumer trust in scientists, and in turn belief that global warming is happening.

The study also examined previous research on this issue and concluded that the conservative media creates distrust in scientists through five main methods:

1) Presenting contrarian scientists as "objective" experts while presenting mainstream scientists as self-interested or biased.

2) Denigrating scientific institutions and peer-reviewed journals.

3) Equating peer-reviewed research with a politically liberal opinion.

4) Accusing climate scientists of manipulating data to fund research projects.

5) Characterizing climate science as a religion"
