^ I had the same thought.

And in regards to the limited sale, it was 50% off yesterday and the day before :/ The first 50% off was on all dresses and tights, and yesterday, it was a special 50% off everything. I was hoping they would stack but it didn't... the dresses and tights promotion ended yesterday.

AKA, I would wait. They've been pushing 40% and 50% off the last few weeks.

wait until next week - EVERYTHING will be on sale - end of year, people with holiday money to spend, and end of quarter means outrageous sales to help boost quarter earning reports.

yes full FULL wax. I said if I was gonna do it, I might as well do it all. Plus it was half price since it was my first time. It was odd showing this lady all my business but she was nice and talked to me. But DAMN it hurt. Thankfully it was quick pain.

the first time is the most painful, it's not as bad the following times... your skin desensitizes to it i think

If your hair is already growing back that means she broke a bunch of your hairs off instead of pulling them out by the roots. Good thing you only paid half price, but it might not even be worth that

I got this for Christmas from Ken. BUT....I did do the hunting for the good deal on it! I wanted an orangey color crossbody leather bag. (I know tacky color but that is me...tacky mcghee) $50 at Dillards. I have owned this brand (The Sak) before so I know it will last me. It smells so wonderful too! LEATHER! mmmmmmm....SO EXCITE!

shoe repair places can do bags too

when I worked at J Crew we always took our stuff to Hakky at Crabtree and they did a pretty great job...I forget the place we used when I worked at Saks

but yeah most shoe repair spots can restitch a bag pretty easy

Have you tried bringing it to Coach. They used to do free repairs on their bags. Don't know if that's still the case.

^ they should be able to repair it. when i got my coach bag last year i was talking with an acquaintance who worked at the coach store and he said if anything ever needed to be fixed on the bag, coach would repair it for free.

ps - we're heading to london tonight! so excited to go shopping. Lucy - did you score lots of good stuff?

Have fun, Cass! If you're flying American Airlines, we may cross paths, randomly, at Heathrow (assuming you're flying into Heathrow). You timed it better than us. The last three days were different holidays or bank holidays, which makes transportation a bit interesting in London, to say the least. I probably walked 8 miles today.

Currently enjoying a glass of wine and catching up on work.

Bought lots of neat souvenirs for friends and family. This is a great time to be in London. Tons of post-Christmas sales at Harrods and Selfridges! Be sure to shop now. Seriously ... the sales are nuts! Though honestly, I prefer ideeli for shopping.

Oh yeah, and shopping for clothing is INTERESTING, to say the least. Here, I wear a size 6 shoe (typically 8). And the pants and tops are another story. I was explaining size 00 to girl, and she was absolutely apalled. Couldn't fathom that size. I politely explained that it was equivalent to a size 2 or 4 in Britain. Pretty fascinating to me.

The only thing I bought for myself was a Wimbledon sweatshirt and hat. Spent the day at Wimbledon, which is one of my bucket list items (6 months too early, however...LOL). Got a great cashmere scarf for the bf for only $30 at Selfridges though! Yay post-Xmas sales!

I don't think so. The bag my mom brought in was a gift she had received so I doubt she had any sort of receipt for it.

^ lol this guy just sounds like a huge troll.

Quote :
"The seeds of the company's problems were planted early, with its initial founding in Vancouver in 1998. Former CEO Chip Wilson, an avid snowboarder, said he came up with "Lululemon" because he delighted in the idea that trying to pronounce the name -- with its three syllables beginning with "l'" -- would pose a special challenge for the Japanese, whom he enjoyed making fun of. From that less-than-enlightened starting point Wilson went on to create a huge controversy in 2005 when he announced that the firm would rely on child labor and "sweat shops" in China, after three competitors in his native Vancouver went belly up due to rising labor costs.

Wilson, with characteristic elan, argued that Lululemon would be giving poor Chinese youth jobs, and should be applauded, not lambasted, for wanting to assist in Third World "development." "

I mean really?!

^^lol I love the first comment on that article

If anyone has questions about Coach feel free to PM me!

Coach will continue to repair the bag as needed for as long as you have it as long as it is something structural (strap breaks, zipper breaks, etc.) but you will need to pay the $20 it costs to ship it to our repair center in Jacksonville, FL. Natural wear and tear from carrying it cannot be undone or fixed; but we can send it out for you if you'd like to give it a try anyway.

A repair is always free.

I bought the pink/purple dress for my birthday and only ended up wearing it for about an hour. I'm thinking about wearing it for NYE but what shoes?

I also have a dress that is the black lace look that is everywhere. It is sleeveless. Can I wear bright colored tights and black shoes with it or is that doing too much?

anyone have a pair of TOMS? I want to get the classic red ones, and am unsure of which size to get. I usually wear 10.5, occasionally a 10 depending on the shoe. But I'm assuming these stretch a little? They only have 10 and 11

I have a pair of the black glitter

I wear an 8.5 and bought an 8.5

Go to Outdoor Provision Company in Cameron Village. Same prices as online, but you can try them on. That's where I bought mine. Bevello in Cameron Village has them as well (same price)

[Edited on December 30, 2011 at 12:04 PM. Reason : And yes they stretch..so buy them snug. If you can get your foot in a 10, get that]

OMG MEEEEEEEEEEEE!! I don't care who stabs who, I am ADDICTED to their stuff.

ALSO

I need recommendations for a good waterproof mascara remover. I've tried Cover Girl and Bobbi Brown, and they don't work for me. I want something that's going to take off makeup, not my eyelashes.
