I guess nobody caught it, but how did GW get ahead of us in the AP? Did the 21 point blowout not convince we were better? Or was it GW's GREAT win in OT versus Marshall?

Should UNC be ranked higher than us because they beat us on their home floor by 13?

Should Duke fall out of #1 because only a miracle buzzer-beater against VT kept them from going to 0-1 in the ACC?

I can tell if that's sarcastic or not. Obviously, it's relatively easy to do, but I feel that this is nicer to look at and easier to spot trends and any anomalies than the raw data ESPN provides. Plus, it gives me yet another outlet for wasting time.

I don't understand the anti-graph sentiment. It's not intended to be clever or innovative. It's just a convenient way to display the relevant information culled from multiple weeks.

I am a unc fan and I enjoy the graphs.. I will say though at the 19 places in 2 weeks a lot of teams that were ahead of unc from 20-45 lost at least once maybe twice in that time frame. I will say though that the bias is not as bad as normal but i am surprised GW is still in the top 20 they and MSU should be sub 20 i believe. Not bad teams just not playing to the level they should. While Carolina is playing better than they were projected because they had to go off all freshmen sucking not 2 or 3 being big players.

we're 11th in the Sagarin

if you put any faith or credibility in that sportsline poll...well dont cause its complete garbage

here's the "reasoning" why UNC is a top 10 team..."Tar Heels have won five straight against N.C. State."...so apparently beating State 5 times makes you a top ten team in the nation

somehow this is why Oklahoma is the 17th ranked team in their poll..."Close call against an average SMU team before first loss to Nebraska since 1999."...wow...close call against SMU and a loss to Nebraska...17th in the nation is right!

NC State at 25th..."Tar Heels were first team to shoot better than 50 percent against the Wolfpack."...well at least they say we've been playing good defense this year

Still though...UNC as 10th...whereas Maryland is 24th...and hey look at this comment about Maryland...I wonder why it doesnt apply to UNC as well? Well here it is "There's no good excuse for losing to Miami (Fla.)"

I guess that doesnt apply to UNC because it doesnt specify losing to Miami by double digits, or losing to them at home
