Sony promised a FREE way to play games online, and delivered. I'm sure they will be improving the service as time goes by, but even if they don't, I don't really care. It does what I need it to do.

I've got to say the bug issue really does seem to be isolated to the retail stores. Like Fanatik, I'm just having a bit of fun poking at the PS3 haters on here. I don't think I hear anyone cracking on Xbox. I think they've done a good job for the most part. However, I've yet to hear a negative post on here that actually has a PS3. I've had one for a couple of weeks and haven't regretted the purchase once. And, for the record, no freezes at all or any problems of any sort. Both consoles are going to be around for a LONG time and I don't think either companies are going to go belly up.

i have both consoles now, and I can say they both have their strengths and weaknesses.

XBOX 360 STRENGTHS:

Can download in background
Play music in the background with every game
easier to get Demos and stuff.
More games, prices coming down on some games.

XBOX 360 WEAKNESSES:

Hardware is prone to failure
Hardware is loud



PS3 STRENGTHS:
Full backwards compatability (even if someone diluted graphically)
HDMI Support
Built-in Blu-Ray player
Very quiet.

PS3 WEAKNESSES

Very few games released
cant play music while you play, or download in background
NO rumble in controller.

Talladega Nights was one of the worst movies I've seen in a long time, and the Blu-Ray transfer was pretty awful, at that.
