how good of a school

how easy to get into

90 hours only needed so i dont even have to really graduate?
and yes i know about tuition as well as they are not recognized by US vet license.

all u have to do is pass the american test and they teach you everything all u have to do is just simply take the test pass it and you are considered eligible to practice

and no its not plan B, just using it as leverage...im actually already accepted by states vet school in the poultry science track

Ross has no fourth year clinical rotations. You spend your fourth year in the US. You often then have to wait to get US licensure for 2-3 years after finishing your fourth year.

If you are accepted at NCSU then there's really no decision IMHO. Especially considering some of the horror stories I've heard from friends who ventured that route....not to mention the severe debt load.

A lot of vet schools do this. My girlfriend goes to vet school and there are a couple people in her class that went to vet school after their junior year without graduating.

yes.. horror stories including 'adopting' a stray dog as your surgery dog... getting really attached to it and then doing a terminal surgery like 3 yrs later. no thanks.

My sister-in-law went there and I went to visit once...definitely not a place I'd like to live. It's pretty underdeveloped, there's not much to do, the beaches pretty much suck (which is weird considering the location) and it's not exactly the safest place in the world. People's places get broken into constantly whether they're home or not and the locals see the students as wealthy Americans so they're instant targets. She didn't like it at all and ended up leaving after a student was lured outside (after repeatedly being robbed) and killed. I personally would never go back there, it's just not a very nice place.

How in the heck are you already accepted to State's vet school if you are 19. My fiancee was #1 in her class (highschool and NCSU), had 3+ years of working experience, and already done several internships at places like the Carnivore Preservation Trust and Equine Breeding Center and she was never preapproved or anything. Are you just doing graduate work and not actually going for a DVM?

There is no way in hell you would even blink at Ross if you are accepted to State (we have one of the top 3 vet schools in the country).

Also, my fiancee finished her undergrad in 3 years before Vet school. Their class president (Class of 2006) did 3 years of undergrad at State and was accepted (never finished the degree either).

its the food animals scholars, basically sayin that if i go into the field of practice with food animals, be in poultry swine or beef, im promised a spot

7 are chosen each year from the school in general, 1 from poultry and 1 from animal science
i was lucky enough to be chosen

its a promised track of acceptance if grades are kept up

Ahh, ok. Yeah, I think thats what the class pres I mentioned was in. So are you going for the full DVM or the PhD angle? Most of the people I knew in poultry science just went for a PhD.

full DVM, gotta go all out, i actually wanna be a large animal vet....too many small animal vets these days and not enough focus on our food animals
