If you were gonna get gas soon anyways, might want to get it today, you could save 10's of pennies

However don't get gas today if you weren't going to get gas for another week or 2

Sorry to quote MTG, but

Quote :
"We are back to bombing Iran during the ceasefire for the Iran war that is not a war because Iran bombed a vessel for crossing the Strait of Hormuz that they don’t control yet apparently control.
Not sure how they bombed the vessel because we have totally and completely obliterated their military and beat them in the war that is not a war like 40 times now.

I’m so glad that Trump ran for president to end forever foreign wars otherwise I might start thinking this war that is not a war that we won like 40 times is starting to turn into another forever foreign war in the Middle East.

Good thing Pete Hegseth, Secretary of the Department of Defense, I mean War, is headed to Israel to take orders from, I mean ask for advice, on how to totally wipe out Iran, I mean bring peace.
I’m totally sure no one in the executive branch or donors will do any sort of insider trading based on super duper secret military decisions.

You know the kind based on intelligence that Congress is going to fuse with Israel’s military after they all vote to pass the National Defense (war) Authorization Act.

Because this is exactly what we all voted for when we said Make America Great Again."

I thought this was a joke.

And of course, it is. But it's also "real" somehow. . .

I'm guessing he's gotten 25 gas stations to sign up for this plan. He told them, if you lower your gas by some amount, maybe $0.50 a gallon or something, he has promised them some type of tax breaks at the end of the year, which probably won't be as good as promised.

What will be even cooler is when this stunt puts real Mom & Pop stations out of business. Ah, well, it's mostly brown people running them anyway. . .

Then Freedom Fuel will buy the stations up.

It’s pure market manipulation but hey it’s okay when your guy does it right.

I just love how Republicans are all about canceling the EV tax credit and then do stuff like this.

If Democrats had known the energy transition would be so easy...

We need a new phrase - "you can just bomb things".

It's to keep you safe from the nuclear menace.

YOU'RE WELCOME!!!

Doubt they will hold this against us in the future.

The important thing is that their enriched uranium has been totally and completely obliterated.

That's right! In this administration, we are not bound by the laws of physics!

Not possible. We already won months ago.

Those soldiers probably had low-T and were accordingly unable to appropriately resist ballistic damage.

Quote :
" House approves war powers resolution

Image: Kyle Stewart
Kyle Stewart
The House approved a Democratic war powers resolution that directs the president to remove armed forces from hostilities with Iran.

The vote was 214-208. Four Republicans joined all Democrats in voting for the measure: Reps. Thomas Massie of Kentucky, Tom Barrett of Michigan, Warren Davidson of Ohio and Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania.

The measure now heads to the Senate. But as a concurrent resolution, it would not go to the president for his signature and would not have the force of law.

The House now heads out on its summer recess and will return Aug. 31.

The House approved a similar war powers resolution in early June on a 215-208 vote, with the same Republicans supporting it who voted for the measure today. The Senate later passed the same nonbinding measure.

The Supreme Court in its 1983 INS v. Chadha ruling “found simple and concurrent resolutions that approve or disapprove of executive action to be unconstitutional because they did not require presentation to the President,” according to the Congressional Research Service.

That ruling prompted the Senate to update its fast-track procedures to consider war powers resolutions as bills or joint resolutions, which would be subject to the president’s signature. But the House does not have a way for members to expedite consideration of war powers bills or joint resolutions."

We have the stupidest government
