The BC game is this coming Sunday March 7th, 2010 at 2.00 pm. Anyone want to try and organize a big FIRE FOWLER t-shirt thing? I couldn't make it to the Wake game, but it'd be fitting for the last game of this shitty season to try and give Fowler a parting shot (hopefully he's fired after this school year though) as the season ends. I'm planning on doing just a white-t with sharpie again unless someone knows where to make some legit t-shirts and how many to make.

Russell and Nate are back AND our division is weak. Clemson is losing their top RB, top WR and top TE, so they'll be way down. it will be between us and BC to go to the ACC title game

Fowler still hired a basketball coach who it will take 4 years to prove much of anything. A football coach who would've been nothing the last 2 years had it not been for Russell Wilson (even though Fowler hired an outside firm to hire O'Brien), a baseball coach who was not hired by Fowler, etc. The entire basketball coaching search was terrible, the situation he put Lowe in was terrible and the way he's consistently said our fanbase shouldn't expect to beat UNC/Duke in basketball is why I think he should go regardless. I still want a new AD in the near future. Getting an AD in who strives for success would be an added bonus on top of any athletic success.

State didn't even make the ACC baseball tournament last year. I have no idea if they're supposed to be better but 7 ACC teams made the regionals last year, so making a regional shouldn't be all that impressive. Also, aren't there going to be 96 teams in the NCAA tournament next year? I'd hope we can finish in the top 96. The football title game thing.. would be awesome. I doubt it happens though

we may have a strong football team this year, but remember that we are replacing 3/5 of the starters on the O-line plus our ENTIRE starting D-line, and we know from experience that it takes our players some time to gel and learn TOB's system - maybe b/c he can't seem to be able to figure out a starting combo until the first week of the season...

I think a bowl game would be measurable progress, but expecting the ACC Championship game this year, even in a weak ACC, is a little premature

oh, plus we will most likely have freshmen and true sophomores playing DB, so expect somewhat of a learning curve for our pass defense
