haha listen the only thing the jew would ever do for me was cover a few bills from time to time, certainly wasn't good in bed, company, or any other factor. Most selfish person I've ever met when it comes to finances and you won't really know the entire story til you heard it from both sides.

I've never met someone who was so tight with their money tothe point where they wouldn't allow themselves any fun, or would go to the other extreme and buy all sorts of shit that was unnecessary "WTF A SHOTGUN" awesome welcome to redneck town population 1, fits right in with your SHITTY HOUSE YOU WONT EVER SELL bwahaha.

If I got pregnant by him you bet your ass it would have been aborted before I could think. I'm honored to carry this man's child and it's going to be fabulous!

To have gone from 'can't hardly afford a place to live' to 'debt-free and investing' in so few months, you are surely deserving of congratulations. Hell, you could probably be making bank writing some financial books, or at the very least, a blog about helping others out of poverty rapidly and legitimately.

I will confess that only making ~6k/yr and having the wee bit of debt that I do stresses me out immensely, despite knowing that my living arrangements are secure, and that I'm incredibly lucky to have the situation I do. I'd love to be funding a 401K, have a grand or two in my ING account, and carry a CC balance of zero, and to afford health insurance.

So it's probably an immense relief to have that 6mo emergency fund and all the other things that are traits of doing awesome financially, when one is in one's 20s. Whether that's through hard work or sheer luck, let me congratulate you again.

yeah, that stuff isn't too bad if you can keep mom from buying tons of shit the baby doesn't need (that a new mom just can't resist). the kicker is daycare--it costs a LOT.

that or child support...that REALLY costs a lot...but not because kids are that expensive...just because the system is fucked up.

This is pretty much where I stand on the issue. he covered your bills, something thats your responsibility and your responsibility alone. Car payments aren't cheap, and if they were i imagine you would have made yours. a bill is easily the equivalent of a few decent dinners out, so even if he "covered your bills a few times" and then didn't pay for you at dinner i would completely understand. You say he tight and stingy, but i'm sure from his view and even for many of us here that you were fiscally irresponsible and out of your own ignorance expected people should spend much larger sums of their money than they should and then as a result of the unfulfilled entitlement came to the conclusion you did rather than seeing the light.

I'm all for you having a baby, and i really do want it to work out for you. I rather you not be a statistic, but before you do take a moment to understand fiscal responsibility and what it truly means and what "doing awesome" fiscally actually is. You have a baby on the way, and this is an important contribution to their well being growing up and yours growing old.
