I bought Fat Princess and disappointed in all the online issues. Good to hear they are already working on a patch, but common already.

Played 1 good game yesterday though and actually saved the princess for the win which was pretty sweet. The only way to make anything happen in that game is to coordinate with the team. Could be a really fun game if they clean it up.

I don't understand a lot of it though, like when I'm trying to upgrade a hat station it tells me how much wood/rocks I need and sometimes it changes. I don't understand that. I don't understand why there is a wood/rock counter in the HUD either. Does everything just share resources?

The wood/rock counter above the building tells you how many more of each you need to upgrade the building. The one on your HUD tells you how much of each your team currently has.

^^pretty much anyone who is a worker can just start to upgrade something, there have been plenty of times im about to upgrade something and someone else upgrades a different class or builds a bridge/springboard/repairs the gate/etc.

fat princess does lag a lot.

Apparently, in order to 'glitch' in cod4 the user must:
- take an external harddrive/flash drive,
- copy the save data,
- open the files on a computer,
- erase old code, input new code,
- save the new copy,
- upload back onto the ps3/360.
I know Sony is taking a very proactive approach and banning anyone caught using it (or so the forums say). I guess it's considered an infringement on a copyright (unlawfully altering the game).

I hope they all get caught.

I'm really excited about Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2. There are now like 4 playable characters. The other 3 are all women.

I didn't like the Rachel sections in the first game because she just wasn't fun to use.

They are also toning the blood down. I don't really care but I'm sure the 13 yr old xbox fanboys will be all over that. I hope they take out some of the aspects people didn't like with the xbox version.

The first Ninja Gaiden is one of my favorite games. I dare casual gamers to try it.

Question for those with ncaa football 10
i just started a career mode with nc state (duh). I played the home opener against USC (it rained and I lost 18-17)...

How do i advance it? Do i just choose the next week's game? It looks like I could replay the USC game if i wanted. It also gives me the opportunity to "sim" the week if i want. I really don't understand it and the manual doesn't explain it well.

They're talking about removing the ability to install Linux on the PS3, which is frankly kind of overrated since a lot of the good hardware is locked out. You'll never miss it.

I'll probably buy one as a secondary blu-ray/networked media player. Thing is pretty damn fugly though... it's just got a huge footprint (even bigger than the ps3 fat, from the looks of it).

I wish the stupid save files weren't locked to a certain system though... it's kind of a pain to have to start over on certain games just b/c some people like to cheat the trophy system.
