But the neighbor is a renter. How do I contact the actual property owner and get them to do something about it?

https://services.wake.gov/realestate/

1. Type in the addy (lower left field).
2. Hit go.
3. Click that tiny blue account number on the left.
4. Should have an owner name and even an address.
5. Profit?

Yeah, I'm trying to get a surveyor to come draw the line and document that.

Then my lawyer will send them a nastygram demanding they act immediately.

Step 3. Profit.

Thanks, homie!
It was a good b'day.

I'm in contact with representatives of the company that owns/manages the property next door. I sent them a copy of the arborist's report and quote for tree service along with AI-generated legal-sounding notice of the threat to my property.

That should cover me in re: to liability as established by Rowe v. McGee. They have been made aware of the situation.

The tree service is coming to do some work on my property this Friday on some other trees. I've let the property company know that they can get in on this, and resolve the issue immediately, by contacting the tree service and paying the quote I attached to my email.

We will see.

Kenny's Tree Service rolled in like an arborist swat team this morning and they're mulching whole ass trees already - it's loud as fuck

tree is right on the line so it might be a shared responsibility
