I never liked seeing carts in the parking lot, but after working at a grocery store, it's even worse. If you really don't want to take the cart back to the store or a corral, ask at checkout for help taking your groceries to your car. A clerk will handle the cart for you. It's an easy task that gets them some fresh air, you don't have to return the cart, and the parking lot doesn't become an obstacle course. Everyone wins.

I too worked in a grocery store, before those nifty cart pushing robots came along. Buggies are pretty heavy to push en masse.

I feel like the folks that are too lazy to bring buggies back to the corral are just bottom feeders. Like if you're that lazy, are you lazy with everything in your life?
