Haven’t watched this, but apparently it’s a prequel to Z Nation, which I watched the first 3 or so episodes of years ago

i had to fast forward a lot and it turns out that was for nothing because it never gets good or interesting

Reminded me a lot of 28 Days Later focusing on the response of people... it's true it doesn't really have a significant plot arc

I watched it back when it came out, from what I can recall I thought the first half of the season was actually entertaining/enjoyable, and then it went balls out zany and it ended flat for me.

The first few episodes were interesting because they weren't extremely over the top and I always feel like the immediate moments after a zombie outbreak would be the most fascinating part to watch unfold. Then once they got through the "school" episode that shit went full throttle and the final episode or 2 made NO sense.
