Tell me about this New Belgium Old Tuffy beer, guys. Is it good? I would like to purchase some (to drink). Where can I purchase it (to take home and drink)?

I've been traveling for work this week. One thing that gets me is if I have the 3rd or 4th glass of wine offered on the plan (international flight) and the flight attendant gives me a judgey look, even though I'm sitting there reading and not being obnoxious.

Your subtle guilt trip is killing my buzz, yo.

I had a couple glasses of wine yesterday evening at happy hour, and another when I returned home.

Tonight I'll probably split a pitcher of beer with my wife

I'm looking forward to drinking several Old Tuffys and throwing the frisbee with my dog this weekend.

Don't worry about flight attendants until they give you a warning for drinking. After that, you're basically fucked.

Where are you flying to? Just curious...

I got 3 or 4 jack and diets when I was flying first class between RDU and ORD. Before the last drink the attendant asked me if I was driving and I said no. And I wasn't... but I was 20 at the time.

There's a high chance I will be getting college level drunk tonight. I'm sure I'll wind up being an emotional wreck.

Well, just keep in mind that when you squint really hard through the bottom of the bottle, things really don't look so bad.

Yikes. Why drink? Whenever I get wasted, I'm happy as a clam, so I never understood why people drink if it's going to make them all emotionally distraught...

Fits perfectly with this thread.

Despite the previous post, I wasn't intending on becoming an emotional wreck. I've just been overly emotional lately and who knows what's going to happen, right? Why drink knowing there's an offhand chance it could go south? Because I was doing something social with people I don't usually hang out with and no drinks == not comfortable at all. I realize that's unhealthy in it's own right, but one thing at a time. Thankfully, I had a great time. Physically, I feel like absolute ass right now, but hey...

if you can't have just a few drinks to be social without it becoming college level drunk that's a flag that you should just cut the alcohol all together

Nah, it's just amazing how different the drinking culture is in Germany. Random casual drinking isn't very common there. They have their lives and weekly plans written down and planned out.

For instance, they don't do random "social" drinks after work with colleagues, or even meet up for a couple on a sunny weekend afternoon.

They put that shit on a calendar and typically go all in till early in the morning.

I pretty much never drink the hard stuff. I drink maybe 15 beers a year. Enjoy a glass or 2 of wine regularly.

Not typical but I've had two Ambien, two Xanax, and two shots of bourbon. Wide awake.

Over the weekend, I had several drinks, ranging from whiskey to beer. It was a family reunion, so all social drinking in moderation. Last night, we split a bottle of wine. We also cooked about a cup of wine into our mussels

I had 5 different of IPA's Friday night, 3 OT's Saturday night, and 1 bourbon on Monday. Took a looooooong time to recover from Friday night's drinking. Didn't even want to look at alcohol until the next night. Really messed up my football enjoyment.

Bottle of local Petit Syrah, then a bottle of Willamette Pinot. Whole bottle is too much I think for old guys.
