^^

That’s pretty interesting. It’s very rare a movie pays attention to details like that I think.

That should be pretty obvious given the time travel rules that they explained earlier in the movie.

That part makes sense, but then how does he rejoin the current (prime) time line? I don't really care, but apparently this is a source of consternation amongst internet nerds

^^I just figured it was a different Cap from a different timeline that joined theirs. That one went through almost the exact same experiences.

Or I guess old Cap could have saved some Pym particles and traveled back one last time to hand over the shield to Falcon to carry on the name. Yeah, he would be like 90 yrs old, but he is a superhuman so its feasible.

The new Spider-Man trailer, which has major spoilers for end game, says the snap created a dimensional hole.

Just got done seeing it. As for the last page, i most definitely stayed away from this thread because i knew spoilers would be posted. Thought it was a great movie and a fitting end. As a parent of a 2 yr old girl, the end definitely had the teardrops flowing.

IF YOU HAVENT SEEN THE MOVIE, DONT READ MY POST, JACKASS

AND WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU EVEN IN THIS THREAD THIS MANY DAYS AFTER RELEASE ANYWAY

YOURE A FUCKING MORON

I just got the chance to see it tonight, I have literally stayed away from facebook, TWW, most of the internet, swiped every popup on my phone without looking, and played CDs in my car with no radio to make sure no spoilers.

I felt like Black Widow's death was a little forced, you kinda figured the dude with a family back home (if they win) wasn't going to die, I even thought it might be Thor and Jane, or Scott and his daughter, but I just dont think they had as strong a connection as some other characters, but it was still effective.

How exactly did the Tesseract get from SHIELD to the green people's ship then for the pussy to spit it out on Fury's desk, I mean, he could have poked someone's eye out. (I have only seen Capt Marvel once, so I might have missed something, help me out if you can)

The youtube video says Ant-Man's story isn't important, and then he was kinda the key to getting it started.

How exactly are Nebula past and future connected? do they have like really good Wifi? Or just good dance fighting skills

Why does Capt Marvel vanish most of the movie, I guess because she sure would have come in handy facing Thanos 2014, who was beatable without stones.

Does Peter go to school now with half the kids being 5 years younger than him in the same grade now?

And that's America's Ass!!

But nitpicking aside, I thought the movie was awesome, I liked the wong/strange portals bringing pretty much everyone to the battle.

One more thing, since Loki picked up the Tesseract and went poof, and Cap put it back in 1970, does that create some alternate rift where Loki gets to come back again. (aka Tasha Yar is alive in another timeline, and then had a daughter with a Romulan)

^The Tesseract was originally being held by SHIELD, I just figured that Mar-Vell was working closely with them to beef up Earth's defenses and they trusted her enough to let her use it.

Nebula past and future are both cyborgs with the same technology/frequencies/whatever. It's like if you traveled back in time to your own house like 2 years ago and the wifi was a different name/password but that info was still stored in your phone, it would still connect to it without issue.

The only thing I can think of with Cap Marvel is maybe she was REALLY far away from earth with past-Thanos showed up. So as soon as shit hit the fan, she booked it as fast as she could.

Peter's friends in school will likely be explained in Spider-Man Far From Home. Although from the trailers, it does seem awfully convenient that everyone he interacted with in Homecoming got snapped as well.

I took Loki stealing the tessaract as his way of "coming back to life". His character is likely too popular for them to kill off like that. Although if he does come back, it would be a more villainous version of him since he wouldn't have the same experiences as the one we know from Thor Ragnorak and the beginning of Infinity War.

This kind of tracks because I believe that he's getting his own series on the new Disney Streaming Service.

Finally saw it today (I have kids) and loved it. Left with a feeling that this movie handled the end of a series so much better than GOT did.

Infinity War and Endgame together are truly some of the best action movies ever.

Finally saw this yesterday with my boys (7 and 4) and loved it. The battle at the end was amazing. As already mentioned, some of the time travel stuff got convoluted at times but I didn't dwell on it too much. Unfortunately, I already knew Iron Man was going to die based on Spider-Man previews and other comments I've seen on the web but it still hit me.

I guess Spiderman Homecoming could take place between the re-snap and the 5 years that the final battle takes place? That's the only thing i'm having trouble wrapping my head around. The one scene where Peter is with his friends at school - there's no way that scene takes place during Endgame's timeframe. 5 years in the future would place all of those kids graduated high school and beyond.

Not sure what this means. The second snap was five years after the first. There was no battle in between.

That's what got me confused - does the resnap spawn all those folks back from exactly where they left off? Or does it spawn them in the movie's present day?

They're snapped back into existence when Tony snaps, in the form/age they were when they were erased.

I mean, I watched the film in German, but Spiderman did have a line where he said " First I was sick and didnt know what was happening, and then I was back and you were gone".

Did he not have this line in the original language?

Thanks. So I guess everybody around these people that did't get snapped just caught everybody up to speed.

So we're supposed to assume that all of Peter's friends got snapped along with him. Kind of a stretch isn't it?

^Yeah I though that was kind of a stretch too. Every classmate that Peter interacted with in Homecoming as well as Aunt May got snapped. The only one that didn't was that Asian guy that liked MJ.

I honestly did not like the movie. I mean I found it watchable but there was just too much there that I found pointless and that the movie could have easily been an hour less.

There were just too many unnecessary tropes, or they'd bring characters in for no other reason than to say this character was here. It was a movie of quick easy grabs and nothing that really felt compelling to me.

I'm obviously in the minority here, but, yeah, not impressed.

This movie was an obvious send-off for the last 10 years. Yea, they could have done without Thor's mom, Tony's dad, etc, but I feel like it fit the movie.

My problem right now is how did Cap put the soulstone back? It was more than just a mere placing it back where they got it.

I don't see how there can't be a multiverse after this movie. Caused by not only Loki, but they snap 2014 Thanos out of existence, therefore his timeline is permanently altered.

And Cap hanging back - so they've created at least 3 alternate timelines.

Finally watched this movie on Disney+. Big old pile of meh. Would have been much better if they had cut 1+ hour. So much extraneous shit that served no purpose to advance the plot.

That's what usually happens in the finale of a series, like LOTR, Matrix, etc.
