I think between the staff and player being gone and so many other schools potentially tied up in it too (including real big programs like Kansas and Arizona) that there won’t be significant punishment.

^^ nah, it’s just being proactive. Plus Yow is gonna retire soon and I’m sure KK wants be taken care of before the new AD gets here. I wouldn’t read much into this in regards to the investigation

the State fan pessimist in me says we get hammered for something like this while UNC gets to walk over their cheating scandal but objectively, I agree that I don't think there is a ton that will/should be done - the school actively distanced itself from the agent in question and didn't seem to know, everyone involved is gone, and it would basically just be punishing kids that had nothing to do with it.

Probably good for Harris to get some burn against the non conference opponents, as I don't think he'll get much PT come January.

Yeah this is the best case scenario for Harris because I was thinking he’d be buried on the bench come January. He wasn’t all that impressive at Missouri and will have a couple guys in front of him at State. Although I assume he and Braxton could play some at the same time. Sucks about Bates. Need all the front court help we can get.
