Good movie - I probably enjoy the music from Moana over any other Disney movie.Oh and with my four year old, I have to listen to this on a daily basis. You can try try try but you can't expect a demi-godto beat a decapodAs an aside, I recommend to anyone who likes Jemaine Clement to check out the movie "What We Do in the Shadows"[Edited on August 30, 2017 at 9:49 PM. Reason : movie]
8/30/2017 9:48:14 PM
^hm I'll check that out. One of the reasons I love this part in moana is I mentally put Jemaine's head on the crab, which makes it hilarious. The "Fury Road" coconut pirate scene is also pretty genius in Moana.

I also like to imagine Dwayne Johnson singing "You're Welcome" with that big goofy shit eating grin he always has. He's quickly becoming one of my favorite actors.
8/31/2017 7:18:57 AM
never seen it
8/31/2017 8:22:37 AM
I cant help but like this song. "What we do in the Shadows" is also one of my favorite movies. Last I checked it was on netflix. Should be required watching.
8/31/2017 8:26:21 AM
wait....Moana got crabs???
8/31/2017 10:09:31 AM
I had no idea who Jemaine Clement was when I first saw Moana (in theaters). I still don't.But that Shiny song from out of nowhere was pure awesomeness
8/31/2017 12:47:57 PM
^^ass crabs.
8/31/2017 2:08:58 PM
I looooove moana. You're welcome and shiny are our favorites. I also love the grandma.
8/31/2017 9:10:31 PM
HeiHei 4 life!
8/31/2017 9:14:50 PM
my boss enjoys singing this song. a lot.
8/31/2017 9:17:18 PM
what we do in the shadowsis not on netflix
8/31/2017 10:45:35 PM
It used to be on Amazon Prime. Not sure if it still is.Probably one of the funniest movies you've never heard of.Oh and I read somewhere where they really tried to incorporate a crew that was of Polynesian descent. Both Dwayne Johnson and Jemaine Clement have some, which is in part why they were chosen.
9/1/2017 7:16:42 AM
^ It was still on Amazon as of last month. Must watch!
9/1/2017 11:19:46 AM
It's a good musical number, but it's no Under The Sea
9/2/2017 1:53:40 AM
how are they breathing underwater?
9/2/2017 1:16:22 PM
this thread prompted me to get moana for my daughter from Netflix. It just arrived today, but she has already been watching shiney on youtube
9/2/2017 3:27:08 PM
^^ They are in some mythical realm of monsters below the ocean floor. It's filled with air instead of water. No idea how the hole into the ocean works without pouring water down into the cavern.^ Last I checked Moana was on netflix streaming. At least that's where I watched it. I know Disney is pulling lots of their movies but it hasn't taken effect yet has it?[Edited on September 2, 2017 at 6:08 PM. Reason : ]

But the fish were swimming and the dust they kick up looks like it's in water
9/2/2017 6:16:44 PM
The fish are in the ocean, which is above them. There's some sort of barrier keeping the ocean out but the fish fell through.
9/2/2017 6:31:57 PM
^^^ i got the disc, i don't have streaming
9/5/2017 1:32:08 PM
I tried watching this with my kid and get to the part were the little Samoan gets on her raft and then he just loses interest.yet the mother fucker will watch cars 2 3 times a day all the way through.
9/5/2017 3:14:49 PM
I didn't like the part where the giant thing snapped off two of his fingers, but when they tore that gangster apart and ate him alive was pretty cool
9/5/2017 7:33:07 PM
I love that threads in chit chat has turned into serious conversations about Disney movies. 10 years ago there would have been some awful picture of some porn adaptation of the movie...but now, y'all actually discuss it...hahaWe're getting fucking old
9/6/2017 8:03:00 PM
i read that post and googled rule 34 moana, but i couldn't bring myself to copy and paste that shit in hereso, yeah, i guess we are getting old
