I love actual country as much as I love actual rap, and I have a lot of love for actual country.

Can't we make it, like Merle Haggard vs Ice Cube?

If I have to choose between the two in the first post, then Jay-Z wins pretty much by default.

[Edited on July 23, 2014 at 6:11 PM. Reason : Vanilla Ice's B-sides would be better than that first song. goddamn.]

I like both country and rap. Although most pop country and pop rap (basically the shit they play on the radio) isn't generally my cup of tea. The worst is this new trend of country artists trying to rap in their songs. Good fucking god. It's unbearable.

I like when country artists put those little rap sections in their songs as they tend to do these days.
It's always really good and nobody facepalms or changes the station.

lol, jk. Shit's fucking awful.

That whole Nicki Minaj thing...she's up on stage giving Iggy shit, or shade I guess it is, posing over and over again looking bitchy, driving it home with "no shade no shade" when that's exactly what it was

Then the next day was all like "i wasn't talking about Iggy"

Ok. Sure.
