http://rt.com/news/osama-body-wikileaks-stratfor-949/

The body of Al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden was not buried at sea, according to leaked emails of intelligence firm Stratfor, as revealed by WikiLeaks.

Stratfor’s vice-president for intelligence, Fred Burton, believes the body was “bound for Dover, [Delaware] on [a] CIA plane” and then “onward to the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology in Bethesda [Maryland],” an email says.

The official version is that the body of Al-Qaeda’s top man, who was killed by a US raid in Pakistan on May 2, 2011, was buried at an undisclosed location at sea in a proper Muslim ceremony....

Note: The source is RT and I don't know too much about them.

^^^

it is hard to believe that they dumped him in open sea, but then again, after ascertaining that it was him, what would they gain from taking him to a lab?

as far as i know, he was neither an alien, nor did he have superhuman powers.

It matters because they never killed him in the first place.

Assuming they didn't kill him...

As you yourself indicated in your first post here, it is a lot less likely that they left him where he was than they took him and are still holding him.

I firmly believe they killed him, but you gotta admit, and you did admit, that if they didnt kill him and left him be, he would have made it known to the world that he was alive. So the only possibilities are that they killed him, or they took him alive and is still being held.

Either way they lied and I don't understand how you trust every part of their story except the parts that have been proven to be lies. No matter how many times they lie, people still believe EVERYTHING the government says.

the government's rationale for discreetly burying his body actually makes sense to me: by not giving him a grave or even a known place of burial, his followers are denied a "shrine" of sorts to boost their morale.

i am thoroughly convinced he is dead. seems too risky to state otherwise. if there's any conspiracy at all, i'd guess our government found out he died some other way and engineered a way to take credit for it.

I'm sure they killed him, and they may even have eventually discretely buried him at sea or some undisclosed location...

but I don't believe for a second that he didn't end up studied, tested, measured, dissected, etc in some CIA lab.

This cat had his own dedicated division at the CIA, solely dedicated to studying and killing him, for like 15 years. The OBL division was viewed as obsessed, cultish, and a little off their rockers even by the rest of the CIA. There were Navy missile cruisers positioned for the purpose of launching Tomahawks to kill OBL as far back as the 1990s. The CIA had people who were dedicated experts in OBL's voice, for example. There is no way in hell, after all that, that an organization like the CIA would say "Yeah, just get us a DNA sample so we can confirm it's him, then chuck his ass into the ocean." If nothing else, they'd want to do a post-mortem (so to speak) on all their assessments, so as to validate methodologies, etc.

His body was dumped at sea...

... Into another boat that took him to a CIA lab.

But why would they need his body? Anything they needed to dissect and study they could have easily removed on the aircraft carrier.

can't let him be alive to expose his prior contracts with the cia. saying he's dead and at sea pretty much ends all discussion.

They did what they needed to do on the ship and then flushed him. I'm sure they took whatever tissue samples they needed and that was that.

^seriously.

Duke's assessment amounts to: "well the CIA put a lot of time into finding this motherfucker, so they probably took his body back to HQ so they could poke it with a stick and high five each other a bunch."

there's no information to be gleaned from having his entire dead-ass body that you don't get from some pictures, blood/tissue samples and measurements taken aboard the Carl Vinson.

and if they DID take custody of his body and it is chilling up in Langley, they risk that being exposed. there's no upside in NOT dumping his shit in the ocean.

how could you possibly be "almost positive" about something like that.

and anyway, sure, why not. The CIA has his brain in a jar. Fine.

I always found it really tough to buy the sea burial story on the grounds that it was done to respect Islamic tradition. The government that has caused the unnecessary deaths of hundreds of thousands of Muslims in the past couple of decades all the sudden cares about respect? It's just too silly to be believed.

Of course it wasn't done to comply with the 24 hour Islamic rule or whatever. It was the most convenient way to get rid of his fucking carcass. And there's no shrine. And it's a big fuck you his followers. The fact that it was done in under 24 hrs was just a bonus.

I often wonder why they didn't release a pic of the body? That would've put a lot of this to rest.

I mean, we plaster pictures of or enemy's dead bodies on the news all the time. Even Hussein. Why not OBL/UBL?

That's self-evident. They thought it would be needlessly inflammatory. Not saying I agree or disagree, but Jesus Christ, it's not hard to understand their rationale.

What? Haha, you guys think a carrier has CIA research lab facilities on board?

...or do you think they just wanted to weigh him and get his brain, left eyeball, and right pinkie toe to take back to Langley or wherever?

Dude. This is is the C-I-fucking-A. The absurdly crazy shit that they pulled off and/or figured out 30, 40, 50 years ago--that which has been declassified--would lead me to believe that there is some seriously crazy shit that they would be able to determine if they got hold of OBL's body and had time to play. I guarantee it would be way the fuck beyond pictures, blood/tissue samples, and simple measurements. You are grossly underestimating the potential upside, I think.

...and as far as risk vs reward...again, this is the CIA. They have been known to take some risks many orders of magnitude higher than this...and what's the downside? That the CIA gets proven to have not been totally forthcoming and truthful? Fuck, by that logic, the whole Agency would be out of business.

Yeah, well, maybe the CIA set up a secret body dissecting lab on the carrier because they're the CIA and they do improbable shit like setting up secret body dissecting labs and storing dead terrorists in their Langley terrorist morgue because movies.

while i've never been on a carrier; i have seen Top Gun, Battleship, and many other awesome movies; so I know that you can dissect someone on an aircraft carrier.

if they took his body back, why hasn't anyone talked? people have talked about all the other details, why not that one? what do they need to keep his body for, what tests can they do that they can not do on the boat or with parts of him they have removed?

you don't need a high tech lab to perform an autopsy, the medical center would be fine. and it would be really easy to set one up somewhere if they wanted to keep it secret.

^^^, ^^^^

OK, fine, so they could conceivably pull some crazy shit and do this all on the boat.

...but why in the hell would they do such a thing? Why would that be preferable to just taking him back to CONUS, and if desired, chucking him into the ocean when they were done?

^ Dude, I'm not talking about a routine autopsy. I mean, it's not like they needed to determine cause of death.

why would they lie about it instead of saying that he was brought back? same answer.

what do you think they need to study? they will remove organs during the autopsy, they can save what they want. if the even need that much.

They could have funded mad drones by selling his hair, one strand at a time, on eBay. I'd be a buyer at the $19.95 level.
