Not sure if it was in this thread we had the conversation about Anthony Davis, but as the competition improves he looks less complete offensively than I thought. Drummond has more offensive weapons. Davis is a beast on the defensive side of the ball, though.

his offensive game solely consists of alley-oops and put-backs from offensive boards. i think that's largely a product of his recent growth spurt. 18-24 months ago he was 6'2" so he's totally clueless in the post. that said, he has the mechanics to develop into a good shooter and he's supposedly super coachable so maybe he'll be able to develop a post game in time.

My only wish for the Duke/Temple game is that it had been at the Liacouras Center. I guess the only good thing about playing the game at the Wachovia Center is that there were more seats to allow more wannabe Jersey Duke fans to pay $5 to cross the bridges and come see there team lose.

Meh, they are a very good program but can't call them anything close to great without ever making a Final Four. They'll be fine though, since Jamie Dixon is a good coach and young.

The thing about Pitt is that while they recruit well, they never recruit on the elite level. They rarely have that freakishly good player that you see on teams that often have legitimate chances at winning it all like UNC, UConn, Duke, UK, KU, MSU, tOSU. That's not to say that a team can't win it all without 4 and 5 star players. We have Butler who has made it to the final game the past two years, but that might be more of an indication on how ridiculously good a coach Brad Stevens is.
