That would, indeed, be badass.

And I'd DEFINITELY help pitch in. This shit excites me.

I can just see the wolf going berzerk and mauling some chick in the band tunnel or something awful, that's definitely a pipe dream

not to mention the fireworks and cheering would freak the thing out big time

it'd have to be a big wolf-like dog breed, that I could see happening

or even have Mr. Wuf run out with real wolf on a leash or something

This is never going to happen

But if it did, I'd be disappointed with just one damn wolf

We aren't the NC State Wolves

Legally, State wouldnt be liable for a dog biting someone unless they know it was dangerious before hand b/c it had attacked someone before. Now if they get a true wolf and it bites someone, they are pretty much liable no matter what. But legal liability isnt a big deal for a dog.

Get one girl and one guy Tamaskan. They'll be our "pack" for now. Then they'll make little Tamaskans and our pack will grow. Also, if I'm in Vet School, I think it'd be pretty badass to care for the school's mascots.

And that Kyle O'donnell character can fuck off

[Edited on February 24, 2010 at 3:59 PM. Reason : On second thought, kev is right. We need to have 3. Just make sure they're not all the same sex]

agreed on 2,3, or 5 wolves. 2 could be "Mr. & Mrs. Wuf", but 3 or 5 would make a good "pack"

The cop out would be get one to start out with and say that it, Mr. Wuf, and Mrs. Wuf are a "Wolfpack"

Then expand out from there.

But it's not impractical for UGA, UNC, UT (both of them), LSU, OU, SCar, etc. for them to have live mascots. I mean LSU has a freaking tiger. Colorado has a buffalo. Texas has an 1,800 lbs steer that has horns that measures 6 feet tip-to-tip. We can't even take care of a fucking dog. No wonder our university is so screwed up.

Compared to some of the ACC mascots, it would be relatively easy to pull off.

I don't see a swarm of insects a sustained 75 mph windstorm being practical

lol Brass Monkey. I don't know what the problem is with these student senators unless they plan on going into politics and honestly think that future opportunities will disappear at the expense of accepting a bill that doesn't specify word for word how to take care of a effing dog.

Here's the bottom line: Getting a live mascot would be awesome. Make it happen.

I thought it was a dumb idea until I heard that we used to do this. I think it'd be pretty cool to restart this old tradition. As long as it looks like a wolf I don't think anyone can really bitch about it too much.

I'd also like to see us replace the new wolf logo with the old Tuffy wolf logo. We have all those new logos with the wolf/wolves on the mountain which I think look fine, but changing that old strutting wolf was a dumb ass idea. I'd also like to see us start using the profile view of the wolf on merchandise and things again.

Since I'm going to state next fall, live mascot(s) would be sooo sick to see. I'm also really involved with student government/politics, so who knows.. maybe I'll try to get student senate

#1. The idea is retarded

#2. The kid on the radio today made the idea sound even worse than it actually is, which I never thought was possible.

Please, someone, go curb stomp that little panty waste for me. And, whoever started this god damn thing should be killed with fire in the face.

This fucking child just had our university mocked, on air, for an extended period of time and the dumbass didn't even pick up on the fact that he was being openly made fun of.

Jesus Christ, what have you people done to my alma mater?

1. We can invent the first 3-dimensional printer for building architectural mockups
2. We can make a revolutionary beating heart machine to help research new and better medical procedures
3. We can design materials implemented into military armor to save the lives of our soldiers
4. We can use nanotechnology to invent a fingernail sized chip that holds half a terabyte

But we can't take care of a fucking dog? What a fucking bunch of bullshit. Somebody vote HOOPS MALONE to a student senate seat.

I just found out about this today when my student senator (vet. school rep) sent out an email about this matter to all the classes and why she voted against it last night from what I can gather. So I guess even some vet. students feel this should not happen just to let you guys know. I know that we are out of touch from main campus and the activities that are occurring but I wish I would have known sooner this was happening.

I was behind this idea until I heard that idiot on 99.9 this morning. Adam Gold is a douchebag, but that student government kid was straight up retarded. I'd love to run for student government some time while I'm at State and make fun of idiots like that.

^^^ What was the reasoning. I can understand being concerned about animal welfare but considering that what is being talked about here is a fully domesticated animal there is no reason to think that it couldn't be made into a positive situation for the animal.
