Guessing these NIL deals will need to start to evolve where there is some sort of commitment to remain at the school or more contractual stipulations. That’s the only part that will make any ROI worth it. Otherwise this thing is going to dry up, outside of a few schools and a handful of donors. I actually think the bags of cash through a middle man was a better system.

Yeah NIL + 1 time transfer without sitting out (and add in grad transfers) and it’s basically free agency.

All those things individually are fine. Players should be able to transfer. And they should get paid. But the I don’t think the NIL model is here for long. I’m thinking/hoping we’re heading to athletes as employees soon.

The NIL model is just dumb.
