don't refuse to give me food because there isn't any money in my allcampus acct, when in actuality there was, and then take my money anyway

I've known that since before I came here

Only naive people go to a university dining facility with the expectation of anything more than prison quality food

I never found it nearly as bad as everyone claims. What are you talking about with cold burgers for lunch? I went to Fountain for dinner nearly every day of my freshman and sophomore year and never had a cold burger, I even saw them cook it.

Clark was some pretty damn good food too.

No, its all shit.

Food on a buffet line at any public college is the polar opposite of "pretty damn good."

Food is awesome, just wish they would have more normal stuff and chill out on all the strange foods. Like the lemon pineapple peppered chicken.

It's dining hall food.

It's not great (though occasionally it is), it's not awful (though occasionally it is), but it is there when you need it, and only a short walk away.

I love(d) the dining hall, but I also appreciate(d) it for what it is.

With all that said, the dining halls at Carolina are much better.

eh

I've eaten in a dining hall at UNC before. I didn't notice much of a difference. It's all trash.
you're better off using that money that goes towards a meal plan, and putting it towards take out...or food from the grocery store.

i can't compare them to state...but the one i ate at often (had to go upstairs...near the pit) was really nice. great selection for all meals, but breakfast was the best meal there imo.

I used the dining hall my freshman year. The food was alright until the last two months of school. It seemed like they had some giant surplus of London Broil so that was all they had 5 days a week for dinner. At first it was , but then it was and at the end it was .

Food at the Dining Hall was actually one of the things I was looking forward to when I finally came back to State...

They would be acceptable if they cost less.

But as it is, food and dorms are the university's "money makers". So yeah, I think someone need not be blamed for complaining that someone else's education is more subsidized than their own.
