This is so fucking retarded. Can the guy really be faulted with not paying his child support? He was wrongfully imprisoned for a big fraction of his life! I'm sure it wasn't all good times for the mother either, but she shouldn't be going after the father. This makes her look completely unsympathetic imho.

Damn Duke, I didn't realize the situation you're in. I'm glad you didn't get shafted in court, though. From what my own father describes he got the raw end of the deal when he divorced from his first wife. It seems as if, when it comes to separations, the court is all but on the woman's side.

yeah, the only really big thing I got hosed on in court was the amount of monthly child support. it's far, far more than is realistically needed...but it's pretty much a formulaic thing. I didn't get fucked more than anyone else--it's just that the standard child support rates are out of control, at least in Escambia county, FL.

i mean, i've had to deal with a whole lot of other bullshit, but the rest of it has largely been not court-ordered.

Mumma said investigators even took a new DNA sample from the inmate and confirmed a match. “When there is an exact DNA match, that is sufficient in many cases to move forward with charges," Mumma said. Dail's was in Florida Tuesday when WRAL spoke with him by telephone. "I understand that maybe it takes a little bit of time, but I cannot understand where they got a 100 percent match on DNA and it's still taking this much time," Dail said. “I think there should be some charge."
