Well my roommate and I have school/work and aren't always home. Hell some nights I'm out doing something or he's out so one doesn't see the other for a day and a half.

i've had 2 different times "in the real world" where my roommate (s) got up to go to work after I left for work and they would come home after I went to bed.

My current roommate is my boyfriend, and he's uaually here, in class, or working.
My first roommate was not there a lot.
My second roommate was ALWAYS there.
My third roommate was always there.
My fourth roommate was here a lot on the beginning, never here but to sleep after a falling out.
My fifth roommate was ALWAYS here, had no car and was from another country.

My first roommate in the dorms would go home every weekend to Roxboro. She didn't have Friday classes, so she was gone every week from Thursday night to Monday morning. We got along well, but it was still nice to have every weekend to myself!

I've never been lucky enough to have a roommate who was never at home. However, I had a boyfriend who ended up being a roommate who was never at home because he was always staying with me.

Last year I was the roommate that was never home. My roommate didn't like it, she wanted to spend more time with me. So she didn't wanna live with me this year cause I wouldn't ever be there.

What I lived with eahanhan, I was the roomie who was never there.

She'd hardly ever see me, despite us being coworkers, having classes in the same cluster of room, and being roommates

He had no roommates, that was a complete non-issue

Now the bf and I are roommates, and I'm sure he feels this way sometimes. He works ~9-7, and depending on my class+work schedule, we'll have <1hr/day together.

roommates that are always there partying when you are trying to sleep/do homework FTL

suprisingly, not being able to get any schoolwork done or sleep for over a year can make you depressed as fuck
