I mean seriously. I manage to take my multi-vitamin at more or less the same time everyday and never with more than a 30 minute difference in window. yet my gf some how can't manage to take it at the same time everday and is often a few hours off.

secondly, if you take the pill 6 - 8 hours later than you should would you still be okay or would you be rendered open for attack by baby juice?

to answer the original question, you *should* be okay as long as her next pill is right on time, but it never hurts to be extra cautious.

you should also consider the possibility that she "forgets" the pill because she wants you to stick around for the kids.

I used the nuva ring and I had very little side effects just a lot of gas that NEVER comes out!! It was excellent for me, but as soon as I was off that jammie I got pregnant ! I think it was very powerful for me! Most people that I talk to love it but then it depends on how her body reacts to it! I had no problems having sex either[no penis gloves!!]! If it is pushed far enough up at your cervix then it will never fall out, even if your so's penis is extra large [hehe]!

interestingly enough...i've been taking thyroid medicine everyday since i was 15. when I was on BC (which I didn't get on until I was 18--so I had 3 yrs practice with my thyroid already), I never missed my either pill. now that i'm off BC, I forget to take my thyroid pill some mornings. it is SO hard for me to remember to take that pill now, but i [next to] never missed a BC pill.

yeah its going to be condoms in additon from here on out. she too has many aspirations so her getting pregnant would be more hurtful to her than me since i've recently graduated and have a job. but really, why bother taking the pill at all if you aren't going to do it on time. its definitely frustrating because although i normally wrap it up anyways i'd like to get down and in there a few times without having to worry.

I think it's fairly easy to take the pill everyday at the same time. I take mine around lunch time so when i'm eating i just pop the pill.

And it doesn't matter if your a couple hours late on it anyway. I just wouldn't take it at randoms times every other day.

^^there's no discomfort, it's way up next to your cervix (sorta like you can't feel a tampon way up there)

and you don't "install" it, you just push it up there: it's like a little jelly bracelet

it expands and stays in there until you want to take it out

there is no discomfort with the nuva ring for me but you do have to push it way up to the cervix! No penis discomfort for my husband during sex either, ask him. I did have times when I first started using it that I did not have it pushed in far enough and it came out with my hubby's p33n but I got over being afraid that my body was going to swallow it into my cervix-you can't put anything in that hole. I recommend it and trust me I have tried 3 different pills and the patch. The nuva ring was my fifth choice and the best! I don't think my body can handle all bc either, so that should let you know that it seems to be sensitive in the dosage of hormones.
