I had lots of barbie dolls.

I bet if my parents had bought my transformers, instead of barbie dolls, I'd have turned out

more or less
normal.

I had no fun toys.

Well, except for the Barbie Ferrari and a kickass dollhouse.

But transformers > barbie

^^^I turned all my barbies into lesbians: i chopped their hair super short, and then put glue in the remaining hair to make it hard.

And put them in obscene scenarios. It's a good thing I never had a Ken doll.

No Legos. No Transfuckingformers. None of that shit.

I had all the goddam lawnmowers and power tools that the fucking neighbors threw out on the curb. And I made some bad ass Frankenstein shit.

I didn't have them either. I did have a bunch of Barbies, but I was also fond of legos and Lincoln logs.

But if you want to play with some transformers, go see vinylbandit's collection sometime.

I used to force my younger brother into playing with my Barbies. He had a GI Joe and would be the "man figure" of the entire thing. I'd trick him by saying I'd play teenage ninja turtles if he played Barbies first, we'd play for hours until I got bored then I wouldn't play with his turtles. Thing is the boy never learned.

Ehe I used to cut their hair super short too, but I'd color it in with Sharpies. Purple and blue and green hair, oh my. And their clothing used to be pretty skanky. I'd cut things up, or turn like knee-highs and stuff into 'clothes'. (Which were pretty sheer, considering um it was panty hose material!)

My son plays with my old ninja turtles now. He's also working on a big transformers collection.

My parents got me a crapload of Barbies and My Little Pony's, then I would never play with them. Sold a huge bunch for like $50 when I was 10 or something.

Luckily my daughter isn't into the Barbie thing (yet). She does like her dress up clothes though.

aha, my mom used to buy this tequila that came with mini sombreros on the bottle's neck. They were the perfect size to fit on Barbies. My Barbies were always vacationing in Mexico, even though back then I had no idea what that really entailed.

I always got a kick out of taking my friends' sisters Barbies, stripping them naked, and then pulling their hair between their legs so it looked like a bush...or what I imagined a bush to look like

^^ No, this tequila came with sombreros made out of straw or whatever it is they use to make sombreros. They don't sell it at the ABC Store anymore because I tried to buy a bottle a few years ago for nostalgia's sake.
