Lunardi's bracketology is up, and I think the ACC positioning is laughable at best:

Duke - 1 seed (agreed)
Wake - 6 seed (best case scenario, a 6.)
State - 9 seed (worst case scenario, a 9. I'm much more outraged at our seed when compared to the other ACC teams)
Miami - 5 seed (Miami, basically picked as the fourth best team in the ACC?)
Maryland - 3 seed (since when is Marlyand going to have practically as good of a year as BC?)
BC - 3 seed (agreed)

Last four out:
Carolina (I'd put under also considered)

Also considered:
Virginia Tech (switch with Carolina as a last four out)

^agreed. all we ever do as fans is see these expectations in pre-season of fball/bball and if we come up short, we go on a rampage. i say no more expectations for NC State athletics, lets evaluate @ the end of the season...

First of all, Lunardi is an idiot. Second of all, don't get anyone's hopes up, preseason means nothing.

Charlotte's not bad

but there's a tendency to really overrate all the schools in lesser conferences because of their number of wins. Beating shitty teams doesn't indicate what level you're capable of competing at.

This is why I basically never respect SEC teams that aren't named "Kentucky," and why I don't consider Memphis that big of a deal this year.

Don't worry about this right now.

Bracketology is just a "whose hot or not" list of a teams up until the week before the NCAAS
