YES!!! I knew there had to be some O's fans out there...I've been a Baltimore fan forever and I'm excited about this year...some good young talent, sosa and tejada and the best relief pitching staff in the majors...if cabrera and lopez pitch alright then the O's might make the playoffs this year!

hell yea

best offense in the AL

hopefully our pitching will be above average

i think if we are above 500 at the All-Star Break, then Flanagan will go get a big time player to push us over the hump.

i was at the game last night.. man, what a shitfest that was

however, i still have high hopes for the season..

1. Brian Roberts
2. Melvin Mora
3. Miguel Tejada
4. Sammy Sosa
5. Raphael Palmeiro
6. Javy Lopez
7. Jay Gibbons
8. Luis Matos
9. Larry Bigbie

Cabrera looked like total shit last night, but I think he'll come back and have a great game soon. He throws 98 mph fastballs, but he tried to strike everyone out which he did plenty.. but ended up walking more than he put down..

I love the O's. It just sux they have to be in a division, with the yanks and the wanks. Not much of a Sosa fan, though. I know he will be great for the team, but i don't think he will be a positive clubhouse leader.

GO BIRDS!

i went to the game on wednesday......but man, they havent looked too good the past couple games. it looks like the bullpen still hasnt improved over last year.

Quote :
"the best relief pitching staff in the majors"

i dont know about that. i think they should have passed up on sammy and picked up some better pitching.

Quote :
"best offense in the AL"

it hasnt produced much yet. the offense has been dismal the past 2 games.

its going to be interesting to see how the Nationals affect attendence at Os games this year...a lot of people came up from DC for games. opening day sold out, but there were a lot of empty seats for the 2nd game. granted it was raining last nite, but there was hardly anybody there.

Add another O's fan to the list with me. I'm originally from just south of Baltimore. We're in second now behind Toronto.

i hate baseball, but brian roberts is my best friend's first cousin [even tho the guy goes to unc], so i'm an O's fan. i dont much give a shit about any of the rest of em, but i pull for brian. he's a nice guy.

oh yeah, he also has a cousin that goes here, so that makes up for the one at carolina
