Hey, this may have been covered somewhere before, but do accounts just keep accumulating or what? Like, in a few years will we have 6000 people, only about 2000 which actually even look at the site, or do people get their account deleted at some point?

since each person probably takes 1 kilobyte for the profile, it shouldnt matter even if there are 100,000 users, which would only be 100mb.

Their posts stay forever i think, and thats what takes the most space.

maybe they should have an "active" list of # of users who have posted in the last 2 weeks or something...

^^ that's a good idea

maybe somethign else where if you are inactive for a certain amount of time, your account gets dumped. Like say, a year.

hmm... haven't thought about it. we won't ever be deleting accounts because the accounts are associated with posts. we may start deactivating.
