Finished Squid Games 3 a few days ago.

Just when you think it isn't possible for it to get any more depraved and crueler after Season 2....

One thing I noticed with 3 Body Problem, I prefer tv shows to be like 40-50 minutes in length. Still only seen the first ep of 3BP, started the 2nd, saw 1h3m and decided I'd wait when i wasn't distracted from something else

Pretty explosive. I guess I hadn't been paying that much attention recently, but even as a kid, Puffy seemed shady and I remember him always getting arrested and getting into arguments with kids who claimed he was innocent. Who looks dumb now, Mike Nelson!

It was OK. Had high hopes for it but definitely fell into some of the old tired tropes there at the end.

The Rip was mildly entertaining but not great, the twists were quite obvious. I feel like there might have been a good movie in there somewhere but got edited out/too dumbed down for Netflix.

Frankly i couldn't get past about 10 minutes. Ben Affleck smoking a cig scene that just oozes macho king dingaling BS, while bouncing to Damon having convo with his boss. Just seemed almost cartoonish. And seemed like it would have obvious twists as ^ suggested

But I will try to finish when I can still go to bed at a reasonable hour

I think Damon said in a recent interview that they pretty much had to dumb everything down and that will be a trend going forward for content, since people are stupid and/or always looking at their phones while watching movies.

Agreed, the 11.22.63 show is probably much more enjoyable if you haven’t read the book, but if you have the show is just passable but not great.
