Does the menu change often? Having trouble finding one.

Yes, it's at least a quarterly change (or used to be). I haven't been in a few years.

They keep a lot of the same things on there, but add/remove a few items frequently

we've been going at least 2 or 3 times a year for 5+ years now... recently decided we're going to try to go every month or two, it's so good, such a fun experience

^^^^Said they're shifting their business focus to catering and food truck(s?) but I can't help but think this isn't a voluntary move.

That said their food truck offerings are QUITE tasty. And oddly, most of said offerings are not on the menu at their brick and mortar. I feel like their restaurant hours have been cut back a lot ever since the pandemic ended.

we went yesterday for brunch

apparently someone well known to the downtown restaurant scene will be moving into the CC16 space and keeping the tables/chairs/bar

The wife and I used to go to CC19 weekly before our kids were born. We'll miss it.

It's still Stanbury.

They had soft-shell crab when we went a couple weeks ago.

was in Raleigh on Saturday and did the usual drop by at Albaraka Mediterranean Market and Grill on Hillsborough St to grab a couple seasoned chickens to grill that night at home. Always a fantastic choice. The grill in house is great as well. Need to step up their shawarma sandwich game a bit though

Hit up Jolie last weekend and it was bomb. Got the duck, mussels on toast, and the bread first course. Crazy Raleigh has proper bread places now too.

Still haven't had sushi at all the new places. Can't wait to try that when I'm back for good. Going to mainline some Indian curry my first month. Haven't had proper Indian in 5 years.

^^I haven't been to the Gateway Plaza since they spruced it up. I want to try the ramen place.
