In season 1 your bar is top 3?

Justin is right that another scorer, particularly a guard, will need to emerge. I also think top 3 is a stretch. I think Duke and UL look like 1 and 2 but after that I think it’s pretty open. Just to read headlines (haven’t followed it super closely), it sounds like Uva and Miami have had good offseasons. UNC and Clemson will be in the mix too. But I don’t think there’s any reason we shouldn’t be contending for a top 4 spot and the double bye in the ACCT. I don’t necessarily think that should be the expectation with anything less than that being a disappointment. But unless the ACC is way way better than last year, I think it’s a realistic goal.

Assuming that the NCAA approved 15 basketball roster spots per team for next year, Lubin wouldn't even sniff the 14th spot in the rotation for UNC next year.

Excited to see how our high school recruiting improves. Transfer portal is obviously an important part of roster building. But hopefully we’re only replacing a couple guys though the portal every year and building from high school recruiting. That seems a little more sustainable.

Sounds like all is good to go with Mbiya, although the eligibility issues with these international dudes are a bit of an unknown. Lots of other teams dealing with the same thing, and maybe he has to sit out a few games at worst (in Mbiya‘a particular situation). We are going to have legit talent/depth at pretty much every position and one of the oldest teams in the NCAA terms of average age. I think top 3 in the ACC sounds be about right, could be better if everything clicks.
