I've seen video of people with kids at these protests, so I'm operating under the assumption that's one end of the extreme. The other end would be like a Mennonite without TV or the internet accidentally ending up in the middle of a protest on the way to Target.

Despite my best efforts to avoid them I see protest announcements online (reddit, Facebook, twitter, people sending them to me via text message). They end up on signs and stickers and even spray painted on one of the bridges around the town I live in. I make a note and actively avoid those areas. I'm mainly talking shit about the people willingly taking their kid into a risky situation, where they know something would or could go down.

Also, it's not like, "OH this popped up from no where, I had no idea." It's like the only thing on social media and corporate TV media for weeks.

When I was in LA the large scale BLM protests also were advertised all over the place. If you don't want to be a victim maybe don't go to the victim areas, and doubly true if you have a little.

If you want to be a hero and save America so you can get a handie from a purple haired reddit chick, by all means take a rubber bullet in your face where ever you want.
