Thought middlebrooks played well after starting shitty. Mo pretty lackluster but sat forever in 2nd half. Glad burns didn't get in foul trouble

Crowd prob about 60/40, ncsu/duke, but duke fans seemed louder and more annoying

This has been an unreal ride, totally out of nowhere.

What was up with the subs? At least twice Burns got like only 20 second breather. And a few other players. Some of the time outs were like ok start playing again already.

Diarra was noticeably less effective this game. He still provided some good defense, but didn't quite have the energy of the previous games. Also Burns was carrying the offense almost the entire night - Duke chose not to double him and had no answer for him defensively. No reason for him to sit any longer than he needed to. Also, Middlebrooks definitely played the role of agitator and got under Filipowskis skin while drawing multiple fouls against him. He was an excellent matchup against that crybaby in both the last 2 games.

Not sure why you're questioning substitutions in a game where Keatts thoroughly outcoached Scheyer. Just absolutely pantsed him.

At the end Burns was being subbed out for defensive possession and put back in for offense. Diarra could have played more, but he got into foul trouble, and then we didn’t really need him. We made the awesome comeback in the second half, took the lead, and stayed with the hot hands

9 game win streak. Includes 2 OT games. But average margin of victory is 9.7 ppg. We’re winning comfortably outside of the 2 OT games. We’re just straight up the better team in these games. Not a lot of luck or flukiness involved. We aren’t shooting 60% on 3s or anything like that.

Really is true. Beat all 5 other ACC teams with a natty to win the ACCT (especially the recent giants and original acc members Duke, uva, UNC). Then beating Duke (again) to make the final 4. It’s insane.
