Public boasting of sexual exploits is never okay, regardless of how hot the dude is.

And I am being sexist. I hold women to a slightly higher standard when it comes to sexual discretion than I do men. I'm all for equality between the sexes and all that, but it doesn't mean I want women to start acting like men. In some ways, men should behave more like us, and objectifying sexual partners and bragging about sex could be one place for them to start.

i don't think so. from this angle it appears some people are more in tune with what is and is not racist while others wish to ignore it.

a lot of things get call racist that aren't, that is undeniable (e.g. most al sharpton/jesse jackson/naacp tirades) but what has taken place in this thread highlights some of the most subtle forms of racism that are at the root of society and thus in some ways are the most important to address.

i disagree with your definition. what you described is being stereotypical and while they are often correlated they can be mutually exclusive.

racist is discrimination or prejudice based on race and nothing more. not dating someone you are attracted to physically and emotionally just because they are black is an example of such discrimination and by definition is racist.
