I should probably buy a few of these spouts.

I keep 2 or 3 unopened on a shelf. I want to be prepared if they get sued or go under or something.

biggest life changing takeaway I have gotten from TWW - still in debt for the heads up on those bad boys. people look at me with jealousy at the pump when I'm filling up

dude i filled up 3 of the racing jugs and 4 ez-pour-equipped jugs todayi've watched pretty much all the youtube videos of people praising the ez-pour kits. makes me so happy to see folks figure out a way around the nanny state.[Edited on October 4, 2016 at 11:40 PM. Reason : adsf]

Wish the vent were twice as big. Fill rate isn't that much more than the spouts I already had. I like the flexi spout for my boat, but for my mowers my other rigid bent spouts actually work better. The threads on 1 of the 2 I bought don't work as well on one of my jugs.

i don't even use the threaded collars that come with the kit. i just cut the childproofing mechanism off the one that comes with the jug and swap the EPA spout for the flexible one.they're substantially faster than the ventless carb compliant jugs, in my experience. if you want it to pour faster, go with the race fuel jugs. they are my favorite, but they are expensive.[Edited on October 5, 2016 at 9:44 PM. Reason : ][Edited on October 5, 2016 at 9:46 PM. Reason : best part is not having to deal with the ridiculous spring-loaded valve mechanisms]also, you can cut the flame arrestor out of the nozzle to speed it up some. it's really only there to protect morons who pour gas on fires from themselves.[Edited on October 5, 2016 at 9:50 PM. EZ Pour also offers a high flow version. i have one of that style and it pours super fast.

Happened to be looking up a thread on gas and saw this thread. I was keeping track of all the new changes around the time this was active, but am way out of date now. Are those one things still available for purchase? Or did this go back to not being so quote/unquote "retarded"?

The law hasn't changed. There are some somewhat better designs that are compliant with the law available now, but they're still inferior to the old jugs. The biggest change is how easy it is to get the kits to turn the new gas cans into the old style with a simple spout and vent hole.

The Eagle ones are pretty good:
