I still cook certain things to order - like asparagus in the air fryer.

Also, sous vide helps a lot. I'll sous vide a london broil, for example, and sear and slice before serving.

Tried this, not cause i wanted something keto...but because i like few ingredient recipes. Used crackers instead of cucumber slices. Anyways, wasn't that great. I think mayo and relish are better in chicken or tuna

[Edited on December 8, 2025 at 12:48 AM. Reason : Oh i cropped out the keto part]

1. That sounds gross. I don't know why you would put that in your mouth, and tell anyone about it .

2. Perhaps this thread should be focused on cooking, instead of that

3. I stumbled across this website a few years back that has a lot of plant based meals. Lots of great recipes to try here: https://www.forksoverknives.com/recipes/

Man, I stopped in Aldi yesterday to grab some stew meat. The entire beef section was picked clean because of this darn storm. Same for Wegmans and Giant.

I went to my local halal butcher, and they had what I needed though

if you haven't sous vide cooked a chuck roast or london broil at 130-135 for 20+ hours then you're missing out

you wind up with the texture of tender steak

I chill it and slice it super thin to use for sandwiches

^what do you mean? The people that find something unhealthy in seemingly everything? Only time i hear about peptides is when MAHA folks that hate vaccines for some reason want to put unproven/unregulsted drugs in their body

^^the P in GLP-1 stands for peptide. Between them and the proteinmaxxing that I assume is popular on tiktok, all the yogurt is sold out.

Chocolate is isopure, super fuckin good!
Vanilla is some way expired "vanilla ice cream" optimum nutrition i gave to my neighbor phil, not great but ok...wish i had a better vanilla protein(i have some unflavored isolate i could try adding vanilla extract or something)

The isopure was the last i had, the other chocolate isolate i have is nutricost, hope it don't suck cause chocolate really good, will try again. About 85g protein each

Hey gang. Trying this with unflavored protein and using sugar free pudding packs to add flavor. Only takes about 1/4 of a packet...so far chocolate worked well. Tried 2 with frozen strawberries, one with vanilla pudding mix and one with cheesecake pudding mix. Both decent...still think the 3 different versions of chocolate are my favorites so far. (Chocolate flavored protein, unflavored with cocoa powder and vanilla extract plus maple syrup, or unflavored with chocolate pudding packet)

Got some strawberry zero sugar pudding packs being delivered tomorrow, figure that with frozen strawberries will be the best strawberry. There is only one company that makes a strawberry zero sugar pudding...none locally

Anyways, i got a white chocolate and butterscotch zero sugar packet i want to try too. Still think chocolate will be the best...either using chocolate protein powder or unflavored with a chocolate pudding packet

The strawberry pudding with strawberry packet, def looks more like strawberry than strawberry versions i made with cheesecake or vanilla pudding mixes, those are barely pink at all

This is the one strawberry pudding option that exists

So anyways, thats prob as good as its gonna get on the strawberry front. Its decent. Overall all these def kinda fulfills a sweet tooth craving while having a shit ton of protein. The bowl in this post has about 50g, i think about 350 calories. Best case scenario is the chocolate...is about 50g protein, 310 calories

Hey gang, just your resident viral food tester

I gotta say this is at least 3x better than the puddings i was making. Next time i'm only gonna warm up for like 30 seconds and eat the goo. Super fuckin good and like 36ish grams of protein

This one is up next! Looks even better
