a cheapy small bubble jet one (like the little ones canon makes. that is what i had but it is broken).

i just want to be able to print out papers and articles and other things for school. i don't need a fancy one. but i don't really want to spend like $100 either (i mean, they are expensive for what i need it for which is NOT much!). and i don't want the ink cartridges to be like more than $30.

nothing fancy. it just has to work and be semi small to fit on my tiny desk comfortably.

i mean i thought they were like $40 or $60 these days. but i don't know what i'm doing so maybe i haven't looked in the right places!

those are pretty low maintenance for b/w copies. we have a bunch of them at work that people use at their desk.
