On the plus side, there were some good gifts, and I could score a free tshirt pretty easily...

i actually felt like a mom last night...


the puppy was terrified during the storm and tried to hide under the bed...

i got her out and put her in bed with me and held her and rubbed her and hid with her under the covers and pillows so she couldn't hear the thunder or see the lightening as much...

i kept talking to her and telling her it would be ok and i wouldn't let anything happened to her...


eventually she quit shaking and panting and laid her head up on my shoulder and fell asleep...

it was quite sweet actually
