I find it hysterical that in one thread, lefties are all like, "fuck the police. can't trust'em. they're racist. that beat/kill black people. all police should die". But in another thread they're like, "citizens don't need guns only the police need them!".

Perhaps the problem lies in that you're grouping many people with a wide range of ideas, opinions, experiences, and solutions under one broad category labelled "lefties". You are bound to have discrepancies in a situation like that.

I don't think that's true. I'm a conservative who thinks screw the police and give everyone guns. I doubt I vote for the same people as your "lefties".

And I know lefties who think the same way as I do, and vote for opposite people. Or think screw the police and take away guns (a lot of defense attorneys are like that).
