well i almost lit my condo on fire. LUCKILY the one smoke detector i have isn't in the kitchen, or anywhere near it. and it doesn't go off if something in the kitchen is smoking. it only goes off when i open the bathroom door and too much steam comes out which i am sure makes my neighbors happy at like 6:30am.

i accidentally left a pot holder on the stove (my favorite one ) while trying to boil water. and i smelled a burning smell. and i went into the kitchen and inspected the TOASTER OVEN because that is usually what is being ridiculous. so while i had my back turned to the stove, a fire was brewing. and i'm trying to figure out what is burning in the toaster oven. oh wait, it was my potholder. pretty and pink and plaid.

go. me.
