Pretty sure it won't melt unless you do it on super freaking high. You'll just release all sorts of poisonous gasses into your food.

i've microwaved styrofoam plenty of times. it might melt a little bit, but that's only because the food melts it. the microwave rays don't do anything to it i don't think
