Her son was born with a disorder that's exceptionally uncommon. Something like 5-10 babies a year, worldwide. (I could be mistaken on this stat, and if I am, she'll correct me)

And the center for research on his condition is Duke. The treatment for his condition is pretty remarkable.

There is a new TV show that is going to be on CBS that profiles cutting edge medical technology. Duke Public Relations has asked us if we were interested. I said that we would if it would help Duke and DiGeorge awareness, etc., not thinking that anything would come of it. Silas's biopsy and cleft lip repair is on Friday. At 3 pm today, I got a phone call from a producer.

Someone help me out...I don't think this is really thread worthy...but problem with my math class. Basically the TA doesn't do any supplemental anything during class. He really just reads straight from the book...uses only examples from the book.
Now you and I both know tests aren't questions directly from the book and it feels like class is pointless cause I could just read the book and get the same information that I do in class. I mean should I send the TA an e-mail telling him this problem and risk him having a douchebag grad-student reaction and giving me a hard time. Or should I figure out who the prof. is over him and send him an e-mail asking him to suggest to the TA better ways to give supplemental material?
