manwatching Lebron get that emotional special stuff

Good for Cleveland. 52 years is too long without a championship win.
6/19/2016 10:45:25 PM
That shot by Kyrie. Wow.

lebron is the greatest but damn it took a 109 million dollar sallary, free ride to the finals, lobbying for a green suspension etc etc/stillhatin

That's dedication.

Greatest season in nba history hands down.Best regular season record everCurry greatest individual regular season everGreatest game winning shot in nba history 3-1 WCF final comeback3-1 nba final comebackClose game 7 in nba finals with a remarkable game winning shitPossibly greatest nba finals mvp performance (arguable)I've never followed a season anywhere close to that i basically saw it wire to wire and honestly feel lucky to have seen all that. Just a remarkable year.
6/19/2016 11:08:14 PM
^fair points except for number 4 which I'm not sure which you're referring(funny tww stalled a bit right when cleveland won it all, thought that was the end of tww right when lebron cemented his legacy)[Edited on June 19, 2016 at 11:13 PM. Reason : k]

The greatest game winning shot in nba history i was referring to Curry pulling up from halfcourt against okc, sorry I should have clarified this. While that is certainly an arguable statement i definitely believe it to be true. Gsw was in the middle of trying to break the record at 52-5. On the road in a premiere matchup vs OKC they are down 12 in the 4th quarter. They proceeded to put on one of the most furious rallies I've ever seen. Durant hits a 3 to go up by 4 with 14 seconds left. They force a tie for ot... In ot he calmly brings it up the court and proceeds to pull up in his normal shooting motion and casually drain a 40 footer. I can't think of a better game winner. There have been more contested shots, shots from further away , etc... but i think the fact that this was clearly not a lucky shot... he put that up with full confidence. You can just tell he practiced and added that shot to his arsenal. He talked about it later how he practices and he knows based on dribbles about how far away he is from the basket. It's sheer muscle memory for him. For him shooting is like pulling a club out of his golf bag. He thinks ok this is a 5 iron from this distance. If anyone has a better game winner than that I'm willing to hold the argument. But the bar i was in absolutely erupted during that game. I've never seen a regular season nba game get that kind of reaction
6/19/2016 11:23:31 PM
What a great game
6/19/2016 11:35:43 PM
Man, that JR Smith post game interview. All the feels
6/20/2016 12:10:51 AM
LeBron firmly entrenched among the best ever now. The last two years he has put on a show. Led the Finals in points, assists, rebounds, steals, and blocks. That block tonight will be on replays 100 years from now. Really don't see what the haters can even remotely think about saying now. He just beat a 73-9 team.
6/20/2016 1:06:29 AM
haters at this point are just that. haters. he's a great guy off the court and theres never been a player that can do the things he can do on the court. i dont even know why i hate him really.
6/20/2016 1:13:58 AM
IT WAS RIGGED lol Naw what do you call the team that beat the greatest team in NBA history??!Gods
6/20/2016 1:25:01 AM
I think the greatest team in history* tag can be firmly put in the footnotes of NBA history, where it belongs.Sorry, but you don't get to hold on to that title after losing the finals.
6/20/2016 1:55:49 AM
I do wonder what happens with GSW. Bogut is physically done, not sure about his contract status, UT they need somebody else. Barnes is probably out. He probably played himself out of a max contract, but gotta think somebody is going to offer him more money than the Dubs. I have a hard time seeing them back in the finals next season.
6/20/2016 2:14:41 AM
I just saw Lebron's block on Iggy. The timing on that block is impeccable. Millimeters away from a being a goaltend. I think I would have called it. Kyrie did win it for them. He pulled a Steph Curry on Steph Curry. The Warriors will be back next year and you Cleveland will. I wish I would have saw this last game. The final games have mostly been awful.
6/20/2016 2:54:01 AM
I'm not sure they will. I really think they're going to have some roster shakeups and the Thunder, Clippers, and Spurs aren't going away.
6/20/2016 3:06:37 AM
Agree with face. I am just lucky.
6/20/2016 5:44:59 AM
Playoffs had been utter garbage this year, but that game may have redeemed them
6/20/2016 6:56:57 AM
How did barnes not get mvp
6/20/2016 7:10:04 AM
Seriously he lost that series for them. That was the guy they basically said we dare you to beat us and he was awful. If he is even below average they likely win one of these last 3.
6/20/2016 8:35:34 AM
I mean...Barnes played pretty well the first two or three games. But he definitely stunk it up the final three.Serves him right for turning down the sweet heart deal they offered him before the year. Idiot.
6/20/2016 8:46:13 AM
One more to add to face's conclusion, arguably the best block in NBA finals.
6/20/2016 9:16:13 AM
Actually I still can't believe this. This is the greatest comeback in NBA history maybe because Lebron himself (almost) beat the team with the best NBA regular season record under the 1-3 scenario. This is the real-life version of First Blood series or Commando. Lebron is the freakingly one-man army. He's a tank+missile system+satellite guidance+rocket launcher. Kerr and Curry got STUNNED at the last moment and could't figure out or understand what's really happening. So they just gambled 3-pt shots, which was of course, looked pretty stupid.Lue cried after the game was over too. He beat Kerr at the coaching level. Actually when Lebron blocked the final MVP of last yr and blocked MVP of regular season, when Irving made that shot facing Curry, it was over already.Epic G7, epic Lebron James![Edited on June 20, 2016 at 10:02 AM. Reason : grammar]
6/20/2016 9:53:42 AM
lebron had the block on iggy which was amazing and will certainly be one of the best highlights of his career.but damn i wish he could've finished the dunk over Draymond Green with 10 secs left. that would've been a thing of beauty...given the context of the series and Green's dick-punching and everything.
6/20/2016 10:17:19 AM
I nearly lost my breath sometimes last night, and avoided a possible heart attack. ^ For that dunk, Green's touch could be fatal to Lebron. The ref should have given him another technical foul. That's vicious and dirty. I think he tried to hurt him as much as possible.
6/20/2016 10:23:54 AM
That was one Green play I didn't think had any dirty intentions. Just looked like a tough play with ten seconds to go in G7 when they still had a chance to win.
6/20/2016 10:31:17 AM
Yeah that wasn't dirty on Green's part and I hate the guy. You can't let Bron make it right there though, so he did exactly what he was supposed to do. Stop it, and make him earn it on the line.
6/20/2016 11:30:34 AM
His arm could have been broken when falling to the floor man. Green won, he let Lebron miss the first FT.
6/20/2016 11:32:20 AM
Yes, LBJ definitely could've gotten hurt on that play. But it didn't seem to be a dirty play at all. Green did what he had to in that situation...he didn't have a choice.

Lebron still can't compete with MJ's flying motion. #airjordan
6/20/2016 1:49:56 PM
did thompson even touch the ball in the last 4 minutes? i know he had a 3 rim out in the 4th but i donr remember anything from him after that
6/20/2016 3:15:11 PM
^^^ I think it's fair to call him the most gifted basketball player of all time right now, but this MJ vs Lebron argument isn't valid until James' career is finished and we can judge them both on their entire body of work. Also, MJ at 31: 3 MVP's and 3 TitlesLebron at 31: 4 MVP's and 3 Titles[Edited on June 20, 2016 at 3:18 PM. 6/20/2016 3:18:25 PM
^^ He got the ball a few times in that last stretch, but he was blanketed. The Cavs D in the last three or four minutes was insane.
6/20/2016 3:22:21 PM
Lebron is the nightmare for the new generation of stars around 28. He beat KD & Westbrook to get the first title in Miami four yrs ago. Now he stopped Splashed Brothers to get the first title in Cleveland.
6/20/2016 3:25:20 PM
Barnes had the worst foul in nba finals history. What an absolute bone head play
6/20/2016 3:30:51 PM
that was ezeli but its not his fault kerr put him in

I'm not going to lie. That was probably the most devastating collapse/loss I've seen in my life and I'm an NC State and Oakland A's fan, so I've had my fair share. Kudos to LeBron and Kyrie for seizing all the momentum and absolutely crushing the dreams of one of the greatest teams of all time. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go stick a hose in my tailpipe along with the rest of the Bay Area Ws fans.
6/20/2016 4:21:36 PM
Nah, the rest of the Bay Area dubs fans are going to return their "strength in numbers" t-shirts at Finish Line, because they still have the tag on it.And you don't crush the dreams of one of "the greatest teams of all time." The "greatest team of all time," by definition, would not be the first team in NBA finals history to lose a 3-1 series lead on their home court. The dubs slipped to the top of the West during a transitional phase in the NBA where old regimes were in their twilight. They got punched in the mouth this postseason and completely cowered afterward. That's not the hallmark of a great team.
6/20/2016 4:35:43 PM
^ Thats not a nice thing to say
6/20/2016 4:45:58 PM
come on dude Game 7 was a close game up until the final two minutes and had Curry and HB not shit the bed we wouldn't be having this conversation. The Warriors will be back in contention again next year, unlike your pathetic Bulls who will NEVER win another championship with their pathetic roster.
