The problem is there is really no such thing with anything more complex than like "is the earth round?" There is no way for a human to write something without implicit bias and an AI is just pulling from human sources. Which is what Wikipedia does already btw. Also anyone paying any attention knows that Grok has been showing very open biases through its whole history and is run by a person that is very open about their own biases and wanting to shape the world through those biases. It's pretty hard to have hope about this project from that source.

Most people also express the healthy skepticism/grain of salt of Wiki that you express, I worry that folks will be more inclined to assign that "objective truth" to Grok bc it's AI, when in fact it will almost definitely be just as susceptible to the issues you attribute to wikipedia.

Doesn't wikipedia also do this already? They link to primary sources allowing anyone to go a step deeper if they choose.

And Twitter and Facebook and reddit. Social media is what you make it. Anything open to everyone risks being overwhelmed by the loudest voices, but most of these sites have fairly clear ways to setup your feed to filter out the nonsense.
