I appreciate your positive forward looking aspirations for our country.

Right you are!

Given the future date, expected inflation, and the continuing consolidation of wealth, we should actually be fixated on the future trillionaires!

i'm not against taxes. i just think a more equitable framing would be "appropriate taxes on billionaires citizens to fund it"

[Edited on October 19, 2025 at 7:49 PM. Reason : including billionaires of course. they're the ones who created most of the money we're gonna need to pay for things after all]

[Edited on October 19, 2025 at 7:51 PM. Reason : just unproductive to treat the *-aires as some sort of slur]

[Edited on October 19, 2025 at 7:52 PM. Reason : just seems there's a lot of pent up energy among a certain demographic to bring back guillotines ]

[Edited on October 19, 2025 at 7:54 PM. Reason : lol can you believe i accidentally typed pence instead of pent silly me]

Could they just stop being douchebags for a bit, though?

At least Andrew Carnegie used his wealth to try to benefit society.

most of them are fine. or at least fine adjacent. most people who reach this conclusion are mostly just triggered by the autistic ones.

I think it's actually going to be either Mad Max or Max Headroom
