I, too, was behind. Caught up now. Glad we all caught the Will Rogers as well as the horseshit roughing the passer penalty.

Now that we’re all (maybe?) watching the game live, I have some great stats to share

People love to talk stats but often get caught up in surface level, raw numbers and don’t dig any deeper. But that’s not what we do here on TWW. So a peek under the hood shows us that the Pack is scoring every time we have the ball. Peak efficiency. All it takes is a couple stops and continuing to score a TD on every possession and it becomes mathematically impossible to lose. Unless Super Bowl winning coach Bill Belichick can coach his team to recover multiple onside kicks, preventing NC State to ever take over possession of the football. Which is possible. Because Belichick is such a great coaching mind. Something to definitely keep an eye on here headed into the second half.

Announcers are so stupid. Acting shocked that a local, regional rivalry between two very large pubic schools is “more heated” than the Iron Bowl. I mean, yes, Bama-Auburn is one of the sport’s greatest rivalries, no argument from me. But rivals are rivals. The teams don’t have to be good to really really hate each other.
