The reason TD's were worth 6 in the old days and yards were worth 0 unless you got 100 is because people had to manually calculate the stats and distribute them by fax to their league.

Quite a bit of work for the (unpaid) commissioner.

Now that we have the internet, automatic score tabulation, etc there is no reason not to use rules that make sense.

Look at soccer for instance. The rules in place made sense in 1900. They don't make any sense now since better technology is available. They didn't change with the times and now everyone thinks the sport is stupid.

Remember in high school when a team was ahead 1-0 and they started kicking the ball directly out of bounds so it would go down the hill and into the thorn patch and it would waste 5 minutes of the game? Or how professionals fake injuries, substitute slower than a girl putting on make-up, fake dives in the box, take forever to throw the ball in or perform a goal kick?

Soccer sucks because it's just an inferior sport with inferior rules. Fantasy football doesn't have to suck. Just change the rules.

depends on if you wanna tailgate or not. there's a deck not too terribly far away that's like $10, but obviously isn't great for tailgating. for prime tailgating spots, expect to pay more, especially near the stadium ($25 and up)
